Curry suffered the same fate as Edwin Rosario, Aron Pryor, Rocky Lockridge. Just couldn't handle life outside the ring. Fortunately he's still alive today.
When I was a substitute teacher and the lesson plans were basically just babysit id throw this fight on and watch it to get through the long ass day of just sitting at a desk
Starling slagging off Lloyd Honeyghan for his victory over Donald Curry. What i can see from only a few seconds watching this was starling doing very little.Thats the only reason why he lost this fight and Honeyghan won it in spectacular fashion when it was his turn..
Starling was a counter-puncher, he was never going to attack Curry. The only reason Curry lost to Honeyghan was weight problems. This is 1982 and he's already having trouble making 147. The Honeyghan fight was 4 years later. Curry was a ghost at Welterweight by the time the Honeyghan fight came around. At that point Curry was regarded as one of the top P4P fighters in the world and had looked elite level for 3 years. Honeyghan, on the other hand would never look anywhere near as good again and nobody ever regarded him as one of the top fighters in the world at any stage. He took his chance but his win was down to good timing. Starling destroyed Honeyghan a few years later.

Alexis Argreao was great also R.I.P.
You sure about that?
Marlon said Curry was the best he faced and had the best defense
University of Washington was ranked #1 in the country that week!
This fight was a Draw! Moochie got robbed here by losing this fight. Big Time Draw was this.
Two judges had it 4 points for Curry and the third had it 4 points for Starling. A draw was probably the right call.
judges didnt like the Starling Stomp , Starling didnt lose that fight
Crap.Starling should have took the fight to him and pushed him thats why he lost.
put the crackpipe down.
Quality sound here , picture too 😯
Marlon shouldn't have fought Donald at this time in the first place.
Over the years lve watched this fight over a dozen times. While l do think it was close l really would've given this one to Starling.
No way

Curry left no doubt second Time
Starling is the man since he beat Honeyghan but Curry has his number
With his bodyshots and flurries
Agreed Curry won the return but certainly not this fight.
because he is your brother?
Quite sad. Curry is now a brain damaged mess with few options and little support nowadays
第1戦やね😅見たかった❗マーロンはカリーをK.O.したハニガンK.O.したんだよね
