Liam Williams is a good player, but a hateful git on the pitch at the same time. The best clip I've seen was Dave Kearney smiling at him after he had stuck his sly elbow into Paddy Jackson's head, saying, "Liam, what's the score? What's the score, Liam?"
Good to very good player at various points of his career, but always a card in waiting and you could probably put a five minute clip together just of the number of times he’s ignored clear overlaps in games and cost his team tries (with 3rd Lions Test v SA in 21 probably the most egregious example)
A scaffolder by trade - there's plenty in the game that hate the working man, Plenty of dog in Sanjay. If he didn't have the hunger and a bad attitude, he wouldn't have been as good. Deserved test Lion, Grand Slam winner, European Cup... Let's hope we see more like him.
Liam Williams is a player who was great to watch ball in hand, ran nicely, decent under the high ball and brave in defence, but there always was a petulant side to his game, some cheap shots and he committed a very similar hit to the one on Hendricks (I think it was v SA) when he took out Darcy Graham in the 2022 6N, Darcy scoring saved him further revue on that occasion.

This could have been much longer. Countless yellows in his career, plenty of reds too. Cracking player, but his rashness was a liability.
