I'm looking forward to when they get a proper map designer. There are so many cool things that could be possible with a game like this where flying is an integral part.
100% You only have to look at the maps in Ark survival evolved to see what they could do. I'm hoping for at least a couple of stone arches to (try) and fly under.
This map is so much bigger then i originally thought, i cant wait to to go in an pvp rp server when I’m a bit better at the game. actually living like how dragons would in an beautiful game like this.
Just wait! We have just found out that the game is moving to the Unreal 5 engine and all of the other maps (desert, tundra, crystal caves and so much more) are all going to be in a fully connected map instead of linked through portals. This map is going to look tiny in comparison.

I hope people will keep playing to keep it alive so the game doesn’t become “grow the dragon and just run around and kill things” but like actual surviving like how the isle has behavior rules. Honestly with all the things that had happened with the game i lost all hope for it. But after seing even anthomnia coming back to it with hope you can’t help but gain some back. I’m starting to see great potential in this game and i hope they’ll actively keep working on it!
@@cocochcoco Getting to hear what the developers have planned has me very excited. Server bosses like the Sand and Snowslayer worms that won't just need a clan to take down but multipal clans. An inventory system with pearls you collect or fight for. Creatures that you unlock for a limited time and have to try and survive as, while also giving the dragon players something far more intellagent then just an AI to deal with. Customizable Clan caves! They really do have a lot planned, whether it happens or not is all ways the question with any game, but after fighting through everything they have to this point - I don't think they have any plans of backing down.
My PC was orignally bought to run Ark so Day of Dragon's is no problem for it. I still get lag on the USA and AUZ servers but for the most part they are still playable.
While I could jump on an Elder guide there are already some grest guides already out there. Plus the current elder mechanic is only a place holder at the moment and well be developing to be a much richer and fun system.
Yea, it deserves something better and more worthy then “big rock” I’m sure it will change in the future though. I hope it does haha, I remember when a clan hosted a day care where they took care of baby’s

The Desert map was just for the test and is no longer available. The Dangerous Dunes will be a desert map but much later in development as it will be an extremely hard map.
The river cave is actually a little off from the river. If you are flying over the river, where it starts you can follow the cliff edge left of it to find the cave. Its really big but not very deep.
You can Unlock the Black (Melanistic) skin by being nested as any Iconic skinned dragon and growing to adult without logging out. Most people will grow an Iconic Acid spitter drake as that is the fastest dragon to reach adulthood in around 2 hours. You can ask in global chat or via Discord and there are normally people happy to nest you in, particually in PvE servers. The Unlocked skin can be used on any dragon, regardless of which dragon you used to unlock it, however it is on a server by server biases so you will need to unlock it again if you go to a new server.
Nope, game is progressing slowly but it is progressing. You will see in a couple of weeks the newest Dragon getting launched to the public, the Flame Stalker.
Yup, the map has been one of the main drawbacks to the current early access. Thankfully with 1.0 and more importantly 2.0, we are getting much better maps - including cave systems.
