Vocalist, when he clean sings, sounds a bit like the guy from Filter. Like in the first song for example. Definitely some late 90's nostalgia going on. Mad props. 3rd time I've heard this too.
I've been listening to ROOTS for almost 10 years man. Niverlare is one of my favorite projects of all time. When is BLACK FAIRY coming out? I'll pay for it myself!
Sat and jammed through the whole EP. I honestly can say that I'm impressed. The riffs are just so mind blowing and the vocals are outstanding and fit perfectly with the instrumental. Relapse is definitely my favorite song on here. I'm hoping that you get signed if you aren't already because you definitely deserve to be. Keep rocking!!
seriously. i listened to it maybe a week ago. so most likely well over 78 hahaha. The riffs just stay in my head. Im a big fan of Maybe Thats why humans drink the darkness that is coffee, and returning we hear the larks and the djenty tunes are reminiscent of those bands' sounds, but the vocals make this piece stand out much more. just fucking beautifully dark and epic.
Haha! Yup, Nemertines is a big influence of mine. And I'm really glad I was able to team up with my good buddy Michael as he's a killer vocalist, we work very well together. Thanks again for your time and listening, it's so very appreciated!
I absolutely love this! It almost brings back my desire to make songs again lol. I probably will end up doing something cuz this inspires the hell out of me
TheBlindClown dude that's one of the nicest things to say! I love being inspired and therefore love to inspire others. If that enables you to write something, I couldn't be much happier! Take care and thank you.
Niverlare I don't have any nice studio stuff and my guitar is in bad shape. all I have is an app to make stuff so it's not anywhere near your stuff but damn this is making me hype about making my own stuff again. I lost my passion for making music a long while ago but hearing this makes me want to start again. thanks for amazing music. I look forward to the next ep!!
TheBlindClown I've started out on Shitty equipment myself, I know that feeling dude! The highest form of art is to create something great with what you have available to you, even more so if it's very basic equipment. That just makes it more authentic. It does discourage you a lot sometimes, but you just have to keep practicing and get your craft to where you want it to be. I wish you all the best for sure because I've been there!
Solid EP brother..gotta few Nu Metal instrumentals on my page I did quite a while back...finishing up audio school and this makes me wanna get back to writing and recording some Nu Metal again...Sick...Solid work!
Falling under water,I felt you at my side I'm screaming so hit me harder There's no place for you to hide Watching you hit the floor It's so hard to wake up It's so hard to wake up Make me your little whore It's so hard to wake up It's so hard to wake up It's so hard to wake up Falling cause I felt it I felt it Falling and I felt it I felt it Always I felt it I felt it Always I felt I felt it for me Kill me,just kill me I've been running away from this Kill me,just kill me I've been running away from this Watching you hit the floor It's so hard to wake up It's so hard to wake up Make me your little whore It's so hard to wake up It's so hard to wake up It's so hard to wake up Falling cause I felt it I felt it Falling cause I felt it I felt it Always, I felt it I can't help it Always,I can't help it You kept it from me The lies that you sold Are buried in my head The lies that you sold Will haunt me till I'm dead Thanks for your time man!
Hey man! The tunings on this EP are drop G and standard F and F#, played on a PRS Mike Mushok Baritone with Bare knuckle Painkiller in the bridge. Cheers!
+Niverlare Nice :) On a 6 string baritone? The painkillers sound sweet. I use Aftermaths on an 8 in half drop standard tuning to F. And will be using a custom Bareknuckle on my new 9 string, same tuning with the added C1 ;) Things are gonna get heavy hehe!
Yup! A 6 string. :) And that sounds gnarly man, would love to hear how that sounds like! I'm interested in getting a 9 string myself, but so far no model has really grabbed my attention.
+Niverlare Hehe. I'm getting a FF9 Lefty made by a Russian dude who's company is called Padalka Guitars. You should check his build videos. They impressed me so much i was 100% confident of getting a quality piece for a very reasonable price. 4 month build time too!!!

A necessary evil has to be one of the most addicting songs I’ve ever heard, you guys are amazing!!! I can’t wait to hear future songs
Vocalist, when he clean sings, sounds a bit like the guy from Filter. Like in the first song for example. Definitely some late 90's nostalgia going on. Mad props. 3rd time I've heard this too.
For sure! I highly appreciate it man, blast it loud if you may. ;)

Falling under water,I felt you at my side
I'm screaming so hit me harder
There's no place for you to hide
Watching you hit the floor
It's so hard to wake up
It's so hard to wake up
Make me your little whore
It's so hard to wake up
It's so hard to wake up
It's so hard to wake up
Falling cause I felt it
I felt it
Falling and I felt it
I felt it
Always I felt it
I felt it
Always I felt
I felt it for me
Kill me,just kill me
I've been running away from this
Kill me,just kill me
I've been running away from this
Watching you hit the floor
It's so hard to wake up
It's so hard to wake up
Make me your little whore
It's so hard to wake up
It's so hard to wake up
It's so hard to wake up
Falling cause I felt it
I felt it
Falling cause I felt it
I felt it
Always, I felt it
I can't help it
Always,I can't help it
You kept it from me
The lies that you sold
Are buried in my head
The lies that you sold
Will haunt me till I'm dead
Thanks for your time man!

@@Niverlare ok
U Rock bro'...
I love this tone, makes me want to try out some drop G on my 7 string. Do do you have a favorite scale you like to use?
Thomas B Haha, thanks man! I mostly use the regular minor scale, so nothing out of the ordinary.
this made me pull over the cops. nach einem Jahr immernoch geil.
kann Black Fairy kaum erwarten
Please make music again :'(
I will :((, I know it's been a long time, a lot of stuff has happened, but I can promise there will be more music my friend
Damn, so groovy! Sounds like Head! This is just a one man band?
Yo! Thanks dude. And yes, except for the vocals which are done by my good friend Michael Schires, this is all me. Glad you dig it!
Fuckin brutaaaallll!!
What tuning and how many strings do you use dude? Sounds great :)
Hey man! The tunings on this EP are drop G and standard F and F#, played on a PRS Mike Mushok Baritone with Bare knuckle Painkiller in the bridge.

That sounds neat! I'll need to check those guys out then.
What's the scale you'll have on it?
Sounds like Love & Death
Haha, my vocalist and me said the same thing at first!
