Yes Naveen... When I asked about dormitory in Kanchipuram railway station they have asked me confirmed Railway ticket with destination as Kanchipuram or starting point to be Kanchipuram however I had only unreserved ticket to Kanchipuram came from Arakkonam thru EMU even though I came from Kacheguda to Arakkonam in reserved train. I think this rule is applicable only in Tamilnadu.. as you said in Tuticorin also same rule applicable... I think this is a big disadvantage for offline booking.
