In India, "Home Stay" is promoted as a part of Government policy to promote tourism. There are Government schemes incentivising the development of home stay. This especially is bringing good results in hilly states like Uttrakhand.
Our entire family (3 brothers with families and parents) go to Goa on vacation regularly. We stay at an all-inclusive resort there and spend the week. It's a great time to spend time with family and unwind. We are from Mumbai so it's a short flight.
BTW, Kolhapur is famous for the spiciest food in Maharashtra.

When you guys come to India, stay atleast 4-5 days in Goa. Those filmy locations you mentioned are just a fraction, actually he did not go in to goa main city or many of south goa properties, they are beyond spectacular, the beaches never end in goa and if you hear the prices (in off season), you will surely go crazy, I have stayed at a plush mansion in goa at 2500 rs a day during summers.

Iman and Mozam i love your reaction videos. If you ever come to Goa (I wish you both come to India) then spend total 4-5 days in Goa. 3 days in South Goa and 2 days in North Goa. This much time is very much required to enjoy and know Goa. South Goa beaches such as Palolem, Agonda, Cavollesim beach are clean, beautiful, less crowded and calm. North Goa beaches are bit crowded but they give you a party and nightlife fun atmosphere. People dance , drink and party in North Goa.
