I love how the German words flow so smoothly back into English while still being recognizable. Also love that the word poltergeist just got cut apart and used so nicely.
Poltergeist is like Kindergarden a German word. In german u can add different words to creat new one. Poltergeist is such a word, so geist and polter are two different words. It means noisy ghost. Polter - noisy, ghost - geist. The words flow so smoothly because english and german both result out of the germanic language so they have the same origin.

The origin of these words is German, but they've been added to English as well, just like kindergarten. If you look out for it, you'll see poltergeist and zeitgeist being used every now and then. Just like Wanderlust, it's taking over. Maybe you knew that already, but I just wanted to add it for people who are interested
