    That is what I do in my videos too. I got it from Toastman, who appears to be a master at chatter or commentary in his videos. It took me awhile to learn to do this as I am usually quiet while flying. However, with each video I do, I am getting better at commentary while recording. Thanks Toastman for teaching us how to endlessly chatter through our videos. LOL (It is only a problem when someone triggers me, and I tend to vent.) I should add: It is probably due to Toastman why you got that request. Almost all video You Tubers in WT use VO and not live commentary. Toastman has set a standard with live commentary all of us You Tubers will now have to emanate.

    190 is one of those planes you have to fly in a decent sim type meta before you realize why people like it. In almost every sim I’ve ever played it manages to be a responsive yet stable gun platform. This is realistic because apparently (according to Greg’s Airplanes) it had a certain amount of “control curve” built into the elevator linkage.
    Also in WT the “take off” flap setting rips at such a high speed that they’re effectively combat flaps.
    PS: Why the devil is the U2s repair price so high? Gaijin 🤦‍♂️

    All that hard trying to be TH-cam friendly and avoid cursing went out the window rly quick when that lightning boi started to heat up Your rear end :D
    It's nice to see the live commentary, let's us peak a bit more into Your line of thinking and awareness of the situation in real time. Hindsight is always 20/20 but it's what You know in the heat of the moment that rly decides the outcome.

    Cool, chill content man. Keep it up.

    I prefer this makes it easier to get a hold on what is going on and how you take down your opponents

    You need to put some red circles around enemy planes from time to time. "You see a spit fire down there"
    Me pausing and starring at the screen "No I only see a mash of green and brown"

    i prefer this live commentary i reckon. although one question, What does vertical stabilising do for the guns

    • @TeaRexChannel
      @TeaRexChannel  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      It raises the trajectory of your bullets. So if your convergence is set at 400m, your bullets will be at nose height when they reach that distance, but if you are shooting at something closer then the bullets will be going higher.

    Your dots appear to be quite large when zoomed out, making it easier to spot and track. Is there any graphics tweak you are using?

      The dots are quite large in VR. It's something to do with the way the game renders distant object shadows etc

    Any particular reason why you stopped using vertical targeting?

    • @TeaRexChannel
      @TeaRexChannel  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I found it has made it easier to aim. Vertical targeting only really works against opponents going in a straight line

    • @MrTiapata

      @@TeaRexChannel I've found vertical targeting really helps in Jets with belly mounted cannons (AV8-A - MIG 21 SPSK .....) but for props not useful

  • @molnarcsani

    Hey! I've been watching your vids to gather some confidence to start using fighters in sim (I am always using bombers, because they are chill and can be controlled well with M+K)... I was wondering what is the best way to train for sim air fights? Also I am yet to find a tutorial/tip video on the "most important" piece of hardware for sim... I have a decent PC but my controller is a bit shit (logitech attack 3) and naturally I don't have any VR equipment... I checked out the set up that you specified as yours but I don't have money to buy all of them together... is it better to buy a decent VR and comprise on the controller or the other way around (are rudder pedals really worth it?) and do you know of some channel or vid where I can learn how to actually use such equipment or do you recon it's mostly intuition and training?

    • @UniversalSoldier3k
      @UniversalSoldier3k 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Get a decent joystick, like the Thrustmaster T 16000M and TrackIR. It works well on a big screen. No VR required.
      Instead of TrackIR you could experiment with facetracknoIR.
      Then go into testflight and set up your controls while practicing take-off and landing.
      After that go into EC2 matches and have a go at some dogfights.
      Watch videos about dogfights to learn new tips and tricks.

    • @molnarcsani
      @molnarcsani 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@UniversalSoldier3k Thanks for the tip:) I have never used face-tracking... how does it work? Do you have experience with it?

    • @TeaRexChannel
      @TeaRexChannel  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      A decent joystick is more important than expensive VR. And there are some very affordable options for head tracking. The best way to get better at sim is to just keep playing. Practice lots. Play with other people when you can, as it greatly improves your chances of success and you may learn something new from them :)

    • @LazOyuncu61
      @LazOyuncu61 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It throws your aim off in most cases. They are good for hunting targets going straight but it isn’t too often to have such counters.
