Me as well!! I just used three boxes of tissues and a dirty handkerchief I had in my left hand trouser pocket for three weeks. Things got really bad........ This woman kept staring at me! She just wouldn't stop! So I decided to go see her husband.........
Years ago I had two cats. One of them would sit and watch me fall asleep. When she thought I was, she'd go about her business. Her brother, that butthead, would sit and watch me when he thought it was time to wake up. If I slept longer than he thought I should, he would gently pick at my bottom lip with a single claw and say, "meow" very softly. Not the worst habits in the world.

People NEED to ask questions when adopting a dog from a rescue. It is so important to know about everything you can find out about the precious dog you are bringing to your home. These animals have been given some of the same feelings that God gave to humans. Dogs and cats feel it if there is a problem in the home. They are very perceptive! Dogs, cats and other animals have a perceptive knowledge of what is going on in your home. If things are usual, and your normal daily routine is followed, then your pets feel comfy and happy. But if things change, especially your routine changes and your Pets hear arguing and raised voices, they WILL become worried, they can feel that something is not right. If they came from a home in which they were ignored, mistreated or hit. They will be very unhappy when they feel that something is wrong! Please, treat your pets with love, kindness and compassion. Never abandon your pet! It’s better to chose not to adopt a pet, if you have the smallest idea that you may not be able to care for a pet, please do not adopt a dog or cat and then return them.
My Saint Bernard sleeps in my bed. When he hears a strange noise he crawls on top of me and watches the door. Sometimes he will even go to the door leading to the outside and lays in front of it.
I do like this channel. But these videos have so much filler that it makes me not want to watch. I love stories of kindness and hope for animals, but I have a really hard time sitting through extra, extra talking when it’s not necessary.
Thanks to people like this who take the time to find out what the dogs real issue was and for caring enough to help the dog overcome his fear of loosing his family... again. This story made me cry in remembering how I had to give up my own dog once before. I loved him fiercely and did not want to give him up, but my family was going through a hard time at that point and we could not give him the care and attention he deserved. He sat in my lap as my wife drove us to the shelter. the drive was slow and I pet him the whole way. I gave him a huge hug before I took off his collar (he loved to accessorize and wear just about anything) and the staff put one of their leashes on him and walked him away. He was an extremely well behaved Border Collie and was adopted out the next day to a family with two acers of open land and plenty of time to devote to him. Heck I still cry in remembrance but know that he is living a fulfilled life. My family is in a better spot now and are ready to own another, just have to get the house ready..... I have owned 3 dogs so far in my life, two I saw till their time was naturally up. Cried at every parting...

I’m so sorry that your missing your precious pets Atticus, Finch & Dandelion, I simply love the names you gave to you lovable pets. If you’d like to tell us what happened, I’ll be happy to read your story. I lost my precious dog a year & a half ago. I’m still struggling to get over missing him so much. His name was Aslan. One day I went to the grocery store, on a top shelf there was an adorable Teddy Bear, his facial expression made feel like I couldn’t leave him on that shelf so I brought him home. He has helped so much to begin to let go. Something I just had so much trouble doing. We adopted Aslan when he was about 6 years old. The rescue we adopted him from said they had trouble adopting him out because of his scars, Aslan had scars all over his precious body. His face had the number “5” etched in skin near his left eye. He had huge gashes on his back and a huge scar around his neck. He had bite marks on all 4 feet, and legs. But Aslan was such a lovable soul. He immediately took to us and showed us everyday how happy he was to be with us. Aslan had been used as a “Bait” dog. So people were afraid to adopt him. It’s a huge disservice to think that way. Aslan was so happy when the door bell rang. Strangers who came to our home, left in love with Aslan. Unfortunately he was diagnosed with tumor in his intestines a Carcinoma. Our Vet said that if we agreed to have surgery for him, he may not make it through the surgery. Aslan got cancer on his face just a few months after he came to us. The Vet was able to remove the tumor with good margins But it was still possible that the Carcinoma in his intestines may have come from that first small tumor on his face. Aslan lived over 7 months, but one day he went to get up from his bed and stumbled. He had trouble walking, then just laid down. We took him immediately to our Vet. He conducted some tests. We waited in the office, our Vet came out after a few minutes, we got very bad news, the cancer in Aslan’s intestines Metastasized and spread to his brain and lungs. All we could do was to bring him home. He died after 7 months from the last diagnoses. My husband had just come home, he went to say hi to Aslan as he layer on the floor in the hall way. I think he was waiting for Tom to come home, his tail was wagging as Tom scratched his ears, then just seconds later Aslan had a big seizure, he was gone within seconds. Just that morning I had called a couple of places that would come to our home to euthanize a pet. I was told by our Vet not to wait too long because he could have a seizure, and they can be very painful. So I didn’t want to wait. I hope that Writing this story will show to people that you can’t judge a dog’s temperament by seeing that it has scars on its body. I’ll never forget my precious Aslan and all the love he gave us! Our Vet was so surprised that he lived so long. We miss our Aslan, he was the most precious and loving dog in the world especially after all he had been through. Orendain, I’m so sorry that your missing your precious babies, my heart goes out to you, I’m still missing Aslan. I also miss my babies that came before Aslan, our dogs Punkin, Buddy, Blackie, Beauty, and my very first little dog, Cricket, he was a mini poodle.😢
Yes, my sister did the same thing. I ended up taking her two dogs in. They stayed with me until they passed away. I tell her to this day that they should never ever even think of getting another dog.
Thats harsh. What if the family can't afford to feed the dog? What if the dog had special health problems that the family weren't prepared to deal with? What if the dog turned on the family's youngest child? What if the dog was an army vet and due to ptsd turns on them? There are too many possible scenarios for me to agree with ur statement. Ultimately, in my opinion, my human family members will come before my animal family as harsh and sad as that is to hear. If I believe that my animal is a legitimate threat to my child I wouldn't hesitate to send it to a shelter. I get where you guys are coming from and I love animals too, but I would never place an animals life above my own child's. If you would then you shouldn't be a parent.

Way to go new owners!!!
People who throw their dogs away when they have kids disgust me they should never be allowed to own a dog again
Yes, my sister did the same thing. I ended up taking her two dogs in. They stayed with me until they passed away. I tell her to this day that they should never ever even think of getting another dog.
Yes, I personally feel that if you have taken an animal to the shelter , then guess what, you don't get to have anymore

@Zenoda Priss So your the type of person who would choose to save an animal over a child? Yikes. I'll pray for your children if u hav any.
