I watch this drama because of Jang Ki Yong and I didn't know that this drama would be so great, the plot, the casts and the OST is really suit and good. I didn't know that Jin Se Yeon would be so good here, but I don't know why this drama is so underrated. Please, give attention to this drama. I love this so much.
Born Again OSTs are so melancholic but passionate at the same time, definitely suits the atmosphere of the drama PS; part 1 and part 5 are my absolute favs
I love that this video ends with the couple that should have been endgame, in my opinion. With the words "forever together" hovering. Ha. I still can't understand why she chose the guy who was the murderer of her almost husband in their previous lives. No, just no. No valid justification. What amuses me is that the drama kept pushing forward the "Wuthering Heights" theme, while I barely saw hints of Heathcliff (hints! but not Heathcliff), and absolutely no trace of Catherine/Cathy and Linton. "Whatever souls are made of, his and mine are the same." Yes, in "Wuthering Heights" I thought Heathcliff and Catherine had that same darkness / passion (even though I did not like absolutely any character in the book, yet I found its darkness fascinating and it is a memorable book), but here in the drama I would say the 2 souls that are more suited out of the 3 are Cha Hyun Bin / Kim Soo Hyuk and Jung Ha Eun / Jung Sa Bin. I definitely think the odd one out is Gong Ji Chul / Cheon Jong Bum. Jung Sa Bin is a soul who saves other souls through heart, Kim Soo Hyuk is a soul that protects / defends physically - they need each other, in order to protect each other from the dark souls. Each attracts dark souls, hence why both are in danger and puts the other in danger, at the same time. But they also need and are perfect for each other, I think. At the same time, each is making so many mistakes in their souls' mission - somehow they fail at times to do what they are meant to do - which makes them very human and real and I like that. I like to see the ending as Jung Sa Bin - the soul, choosing Cheon Jong Bum - the soul, so that she can heal him and protect Kim Soo Hyuk - the soul from him. Otherwise Cheon Jong Bum will keep reincarnating with them at the same times, going after Kim Soo Hyuk, forever envying him and wanting what was his from the get-go. I don't know, I'm trying to soothe my pain from the disappointment of the ending of the drama, even though I knew from the start, I read the synopsis - I still watched it, I wanted to judge by myself. I got burnt intentionally. Somehow, I also don't regret it. I love all Kim Soo Hyuk and Jung Sa Bin's moments together, despite the ending that didn't let them be. *sigh*
