Why did everyone think Baker was bad when all hid did was lead the Browns to the playoffs and suffer some of the most awkward offensive situations in the league. The dude is a leader and a warrior.
And don't forget the divisional game vs the chiefs the browns would have won that game if it wasn't for a rigged call
NFL bandwagon mentality and insanely stupid NFL 'analysts' in the mainstream media make a bad mix. He had a great rookie year and a promising junior bounce back, then as you said, dealt with a bunch of awkward browns nonsense in his rotating offense. Since then he's been moved around, now i hope he takes the bucs farther than he already has. Always liked him as a browns fan, especially after the kizer debacle . Never understood the amount of hate this guy gets, seemed to come out of nowhere during the 2021 season.

A 10 point swing in a matter of minutes: the Chiefs defender torpedoed the wide receiver (can you say spearing/leading with the helmet?), and instead of Browns at the 1 foot line and going in for a touchdown, the “Chefs”get the ball and score a field goal.
I hope as a Browns fan - you Bucks go to the playoffs. It would teach my brownies a lesson - which they will never admit.
Because he was bad in places more bad than good most times and that was probably because he was a young arse hole, arrogant, talked to much. He now has a few years under his belt and has been humbled by his journey from first overall to play for scraps and sometimes that is what it takes. I have noticed its not just his play on the field but his demeanor now, and the fact the locker room they say is behind him, he talks like he has some sense now and good for him.

Honestly, as much as I hate to admit it as a Saints fan, I can’t deny the Bucs are a good team. I completely agree with you regarding the Saints' defense; it's performing well. The issue seems to be with the offense, specifically the offensive line. Fixing the offensive line is crucial. Additionally, I believe it's time to consider letting go of Pete Carmichael as the offensive coordinator.

Derek Carr put on a great show today. Leading his team to 9 points. Good to see the saints use their backup QBs. Jameis Winston came in clucth with that 4th quarter interception. The Saints are definitely a team to keep an eye on. Very entertaining game. The Buccaneers played well.

But last year's problems was because of Byron Leftwich he was terrible at play calling and making game plans, Leftwich got exposed without Arians help
Thus we regressed on offense. Baker for the most part is playing with nearly the same Weapons but this year we are more efficient
But if think everyone had us being worse then expected because of last season, but forgotten that we still have most of the Super Bowl talent as I said previously

Baker is surprising ppl. We all knew how solid this Bucs team was the last few years. Even when Brady and that offense struggled, the defense always kept them in the game, at least for a manageable comeback.
I expected Baker to play more at the level of Winston. They were still ranked 3rd offensively in the league with Winston but he turned the ball over every other possession and cost them games! They still managed to win 7 games with him leading the league in TOs..
They really just needed a QB and they got that and more with Brady.
If Baker can stay out of his own way, this team can compete. Obviously

Coach did good snatching up Baker. I was never much into college ball until i moved to Oklahoma and it was forcefed to everyone. I became a fan of his during his senior year with the sooners. I knew from the start that the Browns werent the team for him (or anyone) and its refreshing to see him leading a team to a win. I might just be a Buccs fan now.

As a long-time Raiders fan, this looked like vintage Derek Carr. Several impressive throws, coupled with a consistent inability to get the ball into the end zone. The only thing missing is it was Winston who threw the late pick, not Carr. Otherwise, same as ever.
Mayfield is a good choice, he needs good coaching, and good play calling. Stability is what that guy needs. You can't hold what happened in Cleveland against him, that franchise is a long way from being legit.

So glad the Bucs won. Came all the way from France to see the game and they won !! Screamed my lungs out in the stadium. People were like "dude, why are you happy ? We're losing !!" Well "I'm French and I like the Bucs..." Dead Silence "oh okay..."
TB still can’t establish much of a run game; but they keep the clock moving with short throws and Baker’s looked pretty comfortable. Defense is stout! Love seeing production from young guys like Palmer, Tompkins, Izien, Otton, etc. Bowles setting in as our HC. Top of the division and putting the league on NOTICE
Check the stats. Run wasn't bad. And this defense and the Eagles are no pushovers. Can't expect to force your run game in those kinds of defenses with a growing OL.
Offense was great problem is they sometimes settle for boring run plays. Mayfield has some great weapons there.
