Stevie B was huge in the late 80s early 90s freestyle dance music scene. He had hits with "party your body" "spring love" "I wanna be the one" and "in my eyes". The king of freestyle
I remember as a kid making cassettes for that special girl with this song or trying to record a dedication on the radio and trying to record it. 😂 Blast from the past!
Not sure if you remembered doing this one unless it’s a re-upload. (Btw I’m writing this before I watched the video so if you figured it then ok). BUT I know someone you haven’t reacted to that I have been asking for a lot for a good while now is a rock band named One Less Reason. They aren’t as well known as other rock bands such as Metallica or Aerosmith (I hate to name drop but I needed an example). They do a killer cover of Prince’s When Doves Cry that you’ll hopefully enjoy and will probably shock you. Trust me on that one lol. They have another great song that is the song that got me into them called Favorite Color. It’s just a song that for whatever reason hits with me. I absolutely love that song and I’m not saying it’s the ultimate song but I just love it. A Day to be Alone is one more great one from them. Please check them out. I have begged and begged reactors to check them out. Gracias and thank you. I bow your humble graciousness. PS: a country suggestion you haven’t done is Little Texas. Check them out. Try either God Blessed Texas or What Might Have Been.
I am a huge fan of freestyle dance music from the 80's to the 90''s. The artists were so good. Stevie B was definitely one of the best to come out of that era. Lisa Lisa and the Cult Jam is my absolute favorite though. I remember when this CD came out. My cousin knew Stevie B and got a bunch of CD's to distribute for him. He gave me like 10 CD's to give out around my school. That album blew up by word of mouth basically.
It's interesting how artists can have different popular songs in different countries. I always assumed that the most famous Stevie B singles are "Waiting for Your Love" & "Dream About You", only to find out that they never charted in most markets. Hence, the majority of the comments here aren't recommending them, which is unfortunate.
This was a HUGE #1 hit in late 1990. This was the first CD I ever bought, which was in November 1990. I knew this song would hit #1 before it even hit the charts. Sometimes you just knew!
I’m good with Second Time Hearing reactions. I recommend for a Second Reaction, Stevie Wonder’s Superstition please 🙂 make it look like the first time , thanks !
Stevie B grew up in my hometown of Coral Springs Florida. While this was his big ballad, he was more known for keeping people on the dance floor in the 80’s….SPRING LOVE IS A MUST
At this point they've reacted to thousands of songs that they're not familiar with, so it's understandable that they may not remember that they may have already reacted to a song. They should have a way to check to make sure they're not repeating songs they've done before.
My older cousin, Scott, was like my immediate big brother. He is 2yrs older than me and when we were teenagers in the late 80’s/early 90’s we could not have had more different taste in music. I was a punk rock/ indie/alt/hip-hop kid and he listened to all of the stuff like Trinere, Timmy T, Noel and this guy, Mr. Stevie B. Because of that I can say that I know the Stevie B. catalog backwards and forwards… and I am proud to say that I do!!! I recommend doing “Spring Love”, “Party Your Body”, “In My Eyes” and “If You Leave Me Now”. You guys will love them!
Try some of these Freestyle songs from the 80's & 90's. Can't go wrong with any of these. Also good for Female Friday. Great songs! Cynthia "Endless Nights", Company B "Fascinated", Safire "Boy Ive been told"' Safire "Dont Break My Heart", Judy Torres "No reason to cry", Pajama Party "Yo No Se"
Do you guys remember reacting to this same song about a year ago? It's the same song just titled a bit differently. Stevie B is one of my all-time favorite artists so no complaints here from another reaction! Please react to his other songs like "Party Your Body", "Spring Love, "In My Eyes", "I Wanna Be the One", Dreamin' of Love".......I think you guys might be blown away.
"Because I Love You" released September 1990. It peaked at number one on the US Billboard Hot 100... Guys check out Stevie hits: "I Wanna Be The One" , "In My Eyes" , "Spring Love" , "Party Your Body" , "Dreamin’ of Love"
Wow, they did!!! I just looked it up. I told the story with my sister on the previous one, and almost told the same story this time. 😅 I can't believe they forgot they heard this one before.
I understand they don't have the luxury like we did of having tons of music ingrained in our memories by constant repetition but I admire the excellent job they doing of recalling so much music on the channel with very limited exposure.
One More Try- Timmy T. J/A this was another beautiful #1 charting slow jam that was huge around the same time as Stevie B. Love to see you react to it and pretty sure you will like it!
Freestyle forever! Husband and I just went to a Freestyle concert Saturday Night in New Brunswick, NJ; was awesome! Judy Torres, Coro, TKA, Cover Girls, Soave, Cynthia, Brenda K Starr. My favorite all time Freestyle songs: Joyce Sims’ “All and All” and Lydia Lee Love’s “Don’t Take Your Love Away” 🔥

This makes me think of Junior High dances. I'm flashing back to Boulan Park Middle School, 6th grade, the after school dances they would have every other month, this was always a song they'd play. And there I was standing on the sidelines.
Stevie B was one of the greatest freestyle/dance artists of the 80s and 90s. He put out a lot of great songs including this. I remember first hearing it in 90-91...teared up and this song hits me on a personal level..Great ballad! I recommend you listen to more of his library... On another note....check out some Disturbed!!
Yeah you guys need to go down the line…” Spring Love “ “i wanna be the one” “ Dreaming of love “ “In my Eyes” . He’s considered the king of genre called Freestyle .
Spring love shouldve been the first choice. Also Party Your Body and I wanna be the One. Glad yall listened to Stevie B. Some other artists to check out would be Expose and Egyptian Lover. Listen to hisnsonh Egypt Egypt
An interesting fact after I had been discharged from the Navy I was driving home and I started the cassette of his greatest hits and I got pulled over on the last song on side to and I was woken up by the sirens of the cop doing almost 90 mph. So basically I was sleep driving how I kept from killing myself or anyone else. I'll never know, but like I said he's got some great music that whole era that whole group
This is a great song, but most of his music was upbeat. Loved his music in the late 80s and early 90s. He wrote and produced all his own music. He had some of the cleanest, hard hitting bass tracks to bump when cruising.
This classic was a staple of 'Bedtime Magic' once upon a time...those who know just know The Jets were always played during that iconic time slot too along with many other great artists/songs. Nostalgia is realer with music than almost any other thing imaginable
Stevie was the man back in the day.... You've done this one already, about a year ago or so.... Spring Love is a must for Stevie B........
I thought this looked familiar. Maybe they forgot lol.
Big factssss
Stevie B is known as the King of Freestyle here in Philly. Freestyle Forever
Guys, you both reacted to this song a year ago. I was really hoping the next time you got around to Stevie B you would do "Spring Love".
Stevie B was huge in the late 80s early 90s freestyle dance music scene. He had hits with "party your body" "spring love" "I wanna be the one" and "in my eyes". The king of freestyle
If they haven't, they need to do a Freestyle deep dive. Egyptian Lover, Kyper, Corina, (Temptation!).
Haven't heard this one in several years! This was a very popular song and played on the radio a lot back then! His voice is incredible.
Spring Love, In My Eyes
Omg this song brings me back to 7th grade!!
Stevie B is the King of 80s Freestyle. Most of the genre is from NYC, but Stevie B is from Miami. His work is incredible
Great love song
This song takes me back.

He was more known for dance club music.
Hadn't heard this song in a long time, but it was on the radio ALL THE TIME in late 1990/early 91.
Party Your Body and Springtime love are classics from Stevie B part of the Latin freestyle movement of the late 1980’s
Ultimate 80s 90s love song!! 💕💕.
This was a HUGE #1 hit in late 1990. This was the first CD I ever bought, which was in November 1990. I knew this song would hit #1 before it even hit the charts. Sometimes you just knew!

Hey guys…you actually reacted to this a year ago. Your first reaction did not refer to it as the Postman Song. 😊❤️
True they did
They sure did ! th-cam.com/video/hJZkGh5Hlgg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=5C8Yj2U9RLjbUkQm

Keeping track of everything must be spreadsheet hell. Surprised it doesn’t happen more often.
Is this the first song they've reacted to twice?
Yes. 2nd reaction to this song. Weird. And no, this isn't the first time they have made this mistake.

I'm a 53yr old hard core metal head and I pretty much know all the words to this song.
Spring Love and Broken-hearted are really good also.
You both have already reacted to this song about a year ago ( or so)
Oh my heavens...this song was popular my senior year of high school! Takes me back for sure...good song though.

Jr High. Man does this take me back. Listening to top 40 music while not doing my homework.
You’ve done this before. I commented this was his ballad. His music was mostly club songs.
It’s worth
Mentioning that Stevie B is known worldwide as the “king of freestyle”
I disagree johny o to me was the best him and rockell

Take Me Back To The 80'S Freestyle Music Like TKA with Cool Ballad Songs Like "I Can't Help It" & Someone In The Dark
In my eyes, y’all have to do that one
I've forgotten about this song. Beautiful ❤️
This ballad was the go to song in the late 80s , for Stevie B, but my favorite ballad of his was “ Love Me For Life”
Oh yes I forgot about that one, that was really good!
I went to one of his shows here in Brasilia, the capital of Brazil, it was the best show of my life, he only sang classics from the 80s and 90s

“SPRING LOVE” is the MUST HEAR Stevie B song ❤❤❤❤
Stevie B was one of the greatest freestyle/dance artists of the 80s and 90s. He put out a lot of great songs including this. I remember first hearing it in 90-91...teared up and this song hits me on a personal level..Great ballad! I recommend you listen to more of his library...

Spring Love has to be your next Stevie B song!
Stevie B is one of the best! Brings back a ton of memories!
Yeah you guys need to go down the line…” Spring Love “ “i wanna be the one” “ Dreaming of love “ “In my Eyes” . He’s considered the king of genre called Freestyle .
I thought you guys already did this one...
Stevie B "Spring Love" should be next !
Hi have you ever heard IN MY HOUSE by the Mary Jane Girls?
So smooth! You should revisit the group, All-4-One. Check out their rendition of the classic, "So Much In Love." Timeless! 💯👍
Another great long song. Check out Breathe “How Can I Fall”.
Stevie-B "no more "
Also..
Spring Love
And
Party Your Body 🙂👍
Stevie B is UH-MAZE-ING!!! He's still one of my favorite artists.
Classic!
Spring love shouldve been the first choice. Also Party Your Body and I wanna be the One. Glad yall listened to Stevie B. Some other artists to check out would be Expose and Egyptian Lover. Listen to hisnsonh Egypt Egypt
You’ve reacted to this song and artist a year ago.
Check out "If You Leave Me Now" by Jaya with Stevie B on background vocals! A forgotten favorite, just like "Because I love you".

Gotta react to some Tevin Campbell... Can We Talk,Round and Round, and Tell Me What You Want Me To Do are all awesome...❤❤
SUGGESTION:
An old R&B Classic
"As We Lay" by Shirley Murdock
Not designed for the pop charts, but was so well done, it climbed to #23 in 1986
This is a great song, but most of his music was upbeat. Loved his music in the late 80s and early 90s. He wrote and produced all his own music. He had some of the cleanest, hard hitting bass tracks to bump when cruising.
This classic was a staple of 'Bedtime Magic' once upon a time...those who know just know
The Jets were always played during that iconic time slot too along with many other great artists/songs. Nostalgia is realer with music than almost any other thing imaginable
He is the father of freestyle. Spring Love is the stairway to heaven of Freestyle. Must review
This song is good it takes me back to my high school days in the 90s
