I take bond, open handed, kindred, and windows of opportunity. I basically see everything that is happening in the game although it seems like a overkill. LOL
I've done games where I only use No Mither, and the other 3 slots are empty, solo queue. You'd be lucky to just survive. Surviving 10 games in a row while you're constantly 1 hit from dying AND the killer never slugs you because they know you can get up whenever you want, you'd never get 10 in a row. The only way I see him getting 10 in a row is by playing with very strong and competent teammates, and abusing pallets. Personally, I'd use No Mither, Flip Flop, Power Struggle and Soul Guard, while having a teammate with Bond (and more importantly, doesn't have a chicken McNugget for a brain) always nearby. NEVER drop pallets. Just go down on them. Then, as follows: >Killer picks you up before you reach 50% recovery: Teammate pallet saves you >Killer picks you up after you reach 50% recovery but before full recovery: Use Flip Flop/Power Struggle to free yourself >Killer doesn't pick you up: No Mither grants infinite recovery and Soul Guard acts as a dying>injured Borrowed Time
Omg that’s insane. I do Dead hard, no mither, object of obsession and resilience and I LOVE this build. Its so effective (if you’re good at looping and know fairly well where pallets/vaults are)
My favorite meme build is Clairvoyance, Distortion, Sprint Burst and Fixated which is basically almost the first build you showed, I like to use these perks because it makes the games more chill but also gives a huge boost to your friends, you get to know if the killer has aura reading perks, you get to use 100% clairvoyance because you know others don't have boons, you also gain a giant advantage from fixated as you escplained here, occasionally I switch sprint burst and use pebble on the killer to let him understand who's in charge
my meme build is tenacity, unbreakable, soul guard, and spine chill. The Slug. Doesnt always work(in fact, i almost never get slugged with it), but when it works, it feels sweet. Another one is the mute, which is calm spirit, iron will, balanced landing, and spinechill.
@@ColaFrags build is more about audible sounds from the mouth. No screaming from powers or perks, or getting hit, no grunts of pain while injured, and no noise on falling if balanced is ready. Compete silence.
For those who wondered where he got the 1:1000 chance from, he simply has 1:2 chance each match for 10 matches. That makes it 1:2^10 which is actually about 1:1024. Daddy Otz wants to give us better odds.
I love clairvoyance just for the fact that I can window tech with it. It’s so fun getting to run through as killer as they vault a window. Makes the game fun again.

animalpath underrated as in “better than people think”. It’s by no means the next dead hard but it’s easily a solid choice for solo play or having fun with window techs.
I feel like people sleep on Alert. It's my favorite solo que perk. Let's you know where the killer is at, if theyre in chase breaking pallets, or patrolling breaking guns and where they're going next if so. Love it. Empathy also gives you a lot of info if your injured teammates are in chase.
Breaking guns? I didn't know survivors got buffed again and can now find guns is chests. Seems kinda unfair for most of the killers to deal with. Maybe ranged killers like Huntress and Deathslinger will become meta. Jokes aside I too love to run Alert or Empathy.
I think inner strength would work better than self care because you’re cleansing a totem anyways for clairvoyance value right? So you’re saving time and procing 2 perks with one totem being more efficient
Ideally it would be more efficient, but it's not as versatile. Self care can be used before you find a safe totem to cleanse, can be interrupted to reposition w/o losing progress, and most importantly can finish a heal started by other survivors. Also getting a second or third totem to cleanse is increasingly difficult. Perhaps counter-intuitively, inner strength benefits more from SWF communication/coordination.
Hades is such a good game Otz it got me out of a rough spot recently and I still come back to it. The back and forth with characters and the gameplay is so worth the time you'll put into it I can't recommend it enough especially if you like Rogue likes and Greek mythology.

Well 🤷🏽♀️ she used very cheap tactics on a strong killer. With the best addons for the character. The second she wasnt dominating anymore and not having .4 second chases, she resorted to camping and gave up chasing people off gens. Its just kinda sleezy and lazy. Doesnt make them a loser tho.

Very nice video, the advantage of Left Behind over Clairvoyance is that you can bring a key and don't need to drop it to use the perk. Also Kindred makes sure you get unhooked without hopefully ever getting to 2nd stage on the hook which can happen in solo queue.

This was similar to my build when I got The Key To Escaping achievement except I swapped out self-care for Inner Healing since you already have to cleanse a totem.
Otzdarva i think boons need a buff, the killer. Community is way too whiny. I suggest that whenever you are in a boon area you instantly heal one health state every 10 secs. This is a balanced approach.

Everyone always complains about Dead Hard but clearly Sprint Burst is the better option when it comes to actually trying to survive the trial consistently.
While Spring Burst is pretty much the best or shared best with Dead Hard, it is not nearly as annoying as Dead Hard and that is why people complain about it. Like damn who have not hit someone and then 0,2 seconds later they Dead Hard and zero damage gets taken? That´s pretty damn annoying, Spring Burst actually requires a bit more thought and gamble to use efficiently.
I love Kindred, not going into solo que without tbh. Most of the matches even with friends i run it, i feel blind without xD So Clairvoyance is definitely worth a try 😊
I tried to get back into killer after not playing for a couple months. every game ive played as killer in the past 2 weeks my matches have been 0 kills and less than 6 hooks.
I tend to go on streaks. I'll win 5 or 6 games in a row trying to use up my items and then when I need some escapes to do rift challenges, I could lose 5 in a row easy

Something strange did happen today, twice in a row i had amazing altruistic team mates that fought to save each other and me from tunneling killers. Recently i have developed a habit of "fuck it i am out of here" because that´s how pretty much every single one of my teams usually are, with a nice twist of leaving me to die after saving them on the hook, but today´s teams have almost made me care again about my team mates in general. edit: Also your math is off as hell, its more like 1/9766 to get 10 escapes in a row with a 50 50 chance every time.
I sometimes to have adapted the don't give an f just come kill me method. Believe me it doesn't help you. This just keeps you in that middle ground of let's call it "the terrible terrible survivor area". This is where the survivors are skilled enough to tbag and click flashlights but have no problem whatsoever throwing games all day long. Not a fun place to be. To get out of this area I played very selfish for a number of matches. Stealthy and either getting hatch or getting a gate open to get out after everyone died. Not proud of myself for that playstyle but it did get me back to a mmr level where solo survivors actually try to play well.
No matter what I always save my teammates and I play solo q. Escaping is no fun, but taking that gamble to go all in and save someone makes the game more intense
I have gotten so many escapes and general use out of clairvoyance. I run it with kindred, inner healing, and lithe. Use it to find chests if you want items (you can even find a key this way if the killer closes the hatch), use it to see where hooks are to better body block, use it to find gens as well as see possible 3 gen set ups, and finally use it to make solo escapes by finding hatch or exit gates quicker.
Clairvoyance is my absolute fav perk in the game just because of the name alone, it could be '' your aura is shown to the killer all the time and youre exoposed and the killer can kill you by hand '' and its still put it in every build.
Boil over has epically saved my butter a couple of times. Amazing at lerys. I should've been dead otherwise. It feels like it doesn't help me quite as much in outside maps. Cool video
I actually have been using a similar pragmatism to my games lately, but with a different set of perks: Clairvoyance/Low Profile/Sole Survivor/Flashbang, Spine Chill, or Self-Care. Usually what I do is I try my hardest to work with the team--including bringing items and such--but like you did in this video, the second it's blatantly clear there's nothing I could do to help except maybe get out myself, I start focusing on that. Generally my specific strategy over the course of the trial is that I'll usually bring something like a medkit or a toolbox or something, usually a brown or yellow, and that'll carry me through the gen progression until Flashbang can activate if I'm bringing it, at which point I'll drop the empty kit near an exit gate if I can spare it and grab my flashbang. At any point beforehand, or ASAP, the second I see any totem I cleanse it so that I can sit on Clairvoyance for the rest of the game. I'll use it in like .2 second bursts if I absolutely have to. Once it's clear that I'm gonna be going for a last survivor standing, but BEFORE i actually AM the last survivor standing, i try and chest for a medkit if i'm injured. If I'm unable to find a medkit then at that point I hide out for Hatch to open up and I can usually take advantage of Low Profile to be completely invisible so long as I'm not spotted. Low Profile is an INSANELY valuable perk for Left Behind-type playstyles, it's not broken in the slightest, but it's SO good. Importantly, even if Hatch is something I can't find in time, Clairvoyance can help me determine what angle to take for exit gate play, and at that point, I have the speedup innately from Sole Survivor which increases further once Spine Chill is active. All this combined, it's extremely rare that if I make it to being the sole survivor, I don't make it out of the Trial. Usually either I'm caught beforehand while it's still a team game, or the exit gate positions are just p much impossible to win with how they're placed. Hope this build helps people think of their own unique sets to play Survivor with :) I would love to see more variety than usually is seen these days, there's a lot of perks who can all really shine if you understand a place on your team that isnt just genjockey.
As a solo survivor I run: small game + circle of healing + clairvoyance + inner healing. Helps me escape solo alot. I have burst healing for myself. A way the team can heal without me. A way I can guarantee hatch escape when I'm the last one left.
If you are observant you can actually see that as Dwight he used the exact clip as a demonstration in that video that is in this video. Probably inspired him to make the vid.
Clairvoyance is a 1 time thing and he might need to heal well before he needs to use it or need to heal several times in the game so not a good option.
Idk why I love clairvoyance so much. It’s so easy to be so selfish with clairvoyance, self preservation, small game and open-handed. Open handed can be swapped for something like head on or self care. Bring a key in case the killer somehow finds the hatch first and just survive till your teammates die or leave. Honestly won so many games using this build
In your 50 kill streak games, the hatch doesn't count as a loss or a win. It's only when the survivor opens the gate and gets out that it counts as a loss, so a win for the survivor. So why does the hatch count as a survivor? No hating, just wondering (:
i love that waiting for the killer to hook before opening the gate is such a well known rule amongst (most) survivors even though the perk is very rarely ran.

I like pairing my Clairvoyance with Boon: Circle of Healing and Quick and Quiet. Then I switch between Dance With Me and Resilience!
Boons have broken me, I watch otz play survivor and walk next to a boon and I think "Dude, you should take a second and snuff that".

Watching old vids like these makes me jealous of how responsive the wiggle skillchecks are.
Everyone always complains about Dead Hard but clearly Sprint Burst is the better option when it comes to actually trying to survive the trial consistently.
Dead hard is superior for a god tier looper, sprint burst is a great perk giving anybody a head start on the killer
While Spring Burst is pretty much the best or shared best with Dead Hard, it is not nearly as annoying as Dead Hard and that is why people complain about it.
Like damn who have not hit someone and then 0,2 seconds later they Dead Hard and zero damage gets taken? That´s pretty damn annoying, Spring Burst actually requires a bit more thought and gamble to use efficiently.
I love Kindred, not going into solo que without tbh. Most of the matches even with friends i run it, i feel blind without xD

I can’t escape my last 10 games what a world
I tried to get back into killer after not playing for a couple months. every game ive played as killer in the past 2 weeks my matches have been 0 kills and less than 6 hooks.
I tend to go on streaks. I'll win 5 or 6 games in a row trying to use up my items and then when I need some escapes to do rift challenges, I could lose 5 in a row easy
@@Reynolds69er if an archive, daily, or trophy is involved, I die 90% of the time. If I’m just playing the game , it’s a 3-4 man escape about 70% of the time. What a cruel world we live in lmao

Something strange did happen today, twice in a row i had amazing altruistic team mates that fought to save each other and me from tunneling killers.
Recently i have developed a habit of "fuck it i am out of here" because that´s how pretty much every single one of my teams usually are, with a nice twist of leaving me to die after saving them on the hook, but today´s teams have almost made me care again about my team mates in general.
edit: Also your math is off as hell, its more like 1/9766 to get 10 escapes in a row with a 50 50 chance every time.
I sometimes to have adapted the don't give an f just come kill me method. Believe me it doesn't help you. This just keeps you in that middle ground of let's call it "the terrible terrible survivor area". This is where the survivors are skilled enough to tbag and click flashlights but have no problem whatsoever throwing games all day long. Not a fun place to be. To get out of this area I played very selfish for a number of matches. Stealthy and either getting hatch or getting a gate open to get out after everyone died. Not proud of myself for that playstyle but it did get me back to a mmr level where solo survivors actually try to play well.

No matter what I always save my teammates and I play solo q. Escaping is no fun, but taking that gamble to go all in and save someone makes the game more intense

I have gotten so many escapes and general use out of clairvoyance. I run it with kindred, inner healing, and lithe. Use it to find chests if you want items (you can even find a key this way if the killer closes the hatch), use it to see where hooks are to better body block, use it to find gens as well as see possible 3 gen set ups, and finally use it to make solo escapes by finding hatch or exit gates quicker.

Clairvoyance is my absolute fav perk in the game just because of the name alone, it could be '' your aura is shown to the killer all the time and youre exoposed and the killer can kill you by hand '' and its still put it in every build.

Boil over has epically saved my butter a couple of times. Amazing at lerys. I should've been dead otherwise. It feels like it doesn't help me quite as much in outside maps. Cool video
I actually have been using a similar pragmatism to my games lately, but with a different set of perks: Clairvoyance/Low Profile/Sole Survivor/Flashbang, Spine Chill, or Self-Care.
Usually what I do is I try my hardest to work with the team--including bringing items and such--but like you did in this video, the second it's blatantly clear there's nothing I could do to help except maybe get out myself, I start focusing on that.
Generally my specific strategy over the course of the trial is that I'll usually bring something like a medkit or a toolbox or something, usually a brown or yellow, and that'll carry me through the gen progression until Flashbang can activate if I'm bringing it, at which point I'll drop the empty kit near an exit gate if I can spare it and grab my flashbang. At any point beforehand, or ASAP, the second I see any totem I cleanse it so that I can sit on Clairvoyance for the rest of the game. I'll use it in like .2 second bursts if I absolutely have to.
Once it's clear that I'm gonna be going for a last survivor standing, but BEFORE i actually AM the last survivor standing, i try and chest for a medkit if i'm injured. If I'm unable to find a medkit then at that point I hide out for Hatch to open up and I can usually take advantage of Low Profile to be completely invisible so long as I'm not spotted. Low Profile is an INSANELY valuable perk for Left Behind-type playstyles, it's not broken in the slightest, but it's SO good.
Importantly, even if Hatch is something I can't find in time, Clairvoyance can help me determine what angle to take for exit gate play, and at that point, I have the speedup innately from Sole Survivor which increases further once Spine Chill is active.
All this combined, it's extremely rare that if I make it to being the sole survivor, I don't make it out of the Trial. Usually either I'm caught beforehand while it's still a team game, or the exit gate positions are just p much impossible to win with how they're placed.
Hope this build helps people think of their own unique sets to play Survivor with :) I would love to see more variety than usually is seen these days, there's a lot of perks who can all really shine if you understand a place on your team that isnt just genjockey.
I don't like it when it was down to two survivors with 2 gens and the other guy is just hiding, not doing any gens and waiting for you to die.

As a solo survivor I run: small game + circle of healing + clairvoyance + inner healing. Helps me escape solo alot. I have burst healing for myself. A way the team can heal without me. A way I can guarantee hatch escape when I'm the last one left.

Since you’re cleansing totems for clairvoyance anyways, wouldn’t inner strength (or whatever it’s called now) make more sense than self care?
Clairvoyance is a 1 time thing and he might need to heal well before he needs to use it or need to heal several times in the game so not a good option.

Idk why I love clairvoyance so much. It’s so easy to be so selfish with clairvoyance, self preservation, small game and open-handed. Open handed can be swapped for something like head on or self care. Bring a key in case the killer somehow finds the hatch first and just survive till your teammates die or leave. Honestly won so many games using this build
God, such an Otz move to use the most broken and busted perks! The whole reason people bought Mikaela was for Clairvoyance, it really needs a nerf.

In your 50 kill streak games, the hatch doesn't count as a loss or a win. It's only when the survivor opens the gate and gets out that it counts as a loss, so a win for the survivor. So why does the hatch count as a survivor? No hating, just wondering (:
Because as a killer you still kill 3 survivors and 1 escapes. As a survivor you don't die therefore that's a win

i love that waiting for the killer to hook before opening the gate is such a well known rule amongst (most) survivors even though the perk is very rarely ran.
