Looks awesome. Hope to be doing some of that myself this winter. I got a tj I’m working on and a 96 ram I’m working for overland camping. I been away from it far too long.
Well worth the wait. Great show. We loved everything about it, great job. The best part was the furry family member not wanting to miss out on one minute of his adventurous weekend...fighting to stay awake lol. Thank you very much once again for sharing your adventures.
Thank you!! It is pretty special that Kiwi tries to stay awake when we are out camping. Never wants to miss a moment....there is a lesson for me I there somewhere lol
Fond memories of nordegg store. Bought my lucky hatchet there. Lucky because after leaving there and heading north up the trunk road. Managed to see 6 grizzlies in one day. Love and miss that country. Great video jason. Gets me itching. Take care bud
love Abraham lake , but I have never been there in the winter. Only thing that would make it better is if the area on the other side of the dam was open for jeeps
I’m trying figure out a good carrier for extra fuel on TJ, I see your strap around spare and fuel hanging on that. Just wondering where you got that or if you sell that?

It should be fun!! That Ram build sounds interesting
Yes I choose second gen ram 1500 cause of the Dana 44 front straight axle that has more options that I work with rather than a IFS front axle.
I noticed he didn't have the plug in the russian tent to prevent it from collapsing
It needs a plug?
@@OverlandAlberta on my Russian tent once you remove the pole to set it up there is a screw in plug to prevent the tent from collapsing
awsome video, fantastic scenery, well done Jay..
Thank you John!
Your panning of the mountains was just the right speed allowing a good and enjoyable view.
That big hill is the gate keeper for sure for those who aren't prepared
Ya...that seems to be how that works for sure.

Thanks Keith!! It is a sweet area to explore!
Great video! We made it out there for the first time this winter. I can't wait to try the Gazelle Tent out this winter!
Thank you! I am sure you will live the Gazelle tent!
Awesome video man ! Such a beautiful lake, and very true with what you said about nature and I feel the same, it's my escape too
Thank you! Nature seems to be always make things better.
Great video, damn looks cold!
It was not that bad. It seemed a lot warmer than it was. Especially after pushing all those vehicles up the hill

agreed! ya I do like the winter....way less people for sure.
Where did you get the fire reflector?
A company called MC Ranch makes them

Yes, the strap is made by Rockslide Engineering, the gas cans are made by Rotopax
Thank you!
