u rlly dont understand them do you? the beauty pageant i do is about self confidence... in the one i do there is no bikini competition because of the confidence thing and were not allowed to wear to much makeup and at my age NO ONE has a good self esteem so i think this beauty pageant i do in paticular is great (national american miss-new jersey) btw im 16 and b4 u judge the lifestyle, participate 1st and feeling like hot shit is a damn good feeling if you ask me
here is a tip if u have a long dress get it so u cant see ur feet or points get tooken off

should we be counting how many "totally, like, you know, and umms, were in this? maybe instead of so many gym trips, might want to slip in a public speaking class or two?not that i am trying to "hate on them," but the only one that was a really good speaker was the one in the teal sweater.

nope - unfortunately, people r entitled to their own opinions, even if they dont sit well with u personally.
& i think youll find that a key element in a BEAUTY pageant (key word) is physical appearance. & the confidence to know that ur hot shit. the confidence to achieve what? a crown for strutting around stage in a bikini & heels & smiling (with your fake porcelain teeth) like a bimbo? it would take a certain amount of vanity to enter yourself into a beauty pageant.
"it's all about being the best you that you can be" - no, i'm pretty sure it's about hot.
& all these girls seem pretty thick - obviously their looks are all they have going for them. & a lot of them don't even really have them...well, at least not with enough make-up on.
...wow, you really are 16. hopefully when puberty settles down, you'll be able to gain some sense of rationality.
if these ^^^ are what you constitute as "real girls", i'm worried about the future of humanity :/
