One thing I haven't found any reviewers do is comment on which pack will keep the water colder for longer, as in which one has insulation. I bought the Chase, but the ice in the reservoir would melt really quickly, then water would warm up not too long after. How is the insulation on the USWE? Will it keep an ice water filled reservoir colder for longer?
They both have uninsulated bladders and packs so no there won’t keep the liquid cool. I think camelback do am insulated bladder which might be better for you.

Warmer? Probably the Chase vest but there isn’t much in it.
