They also race 410 sprint cars at Skagit (same type of cars as these) on their weekly program all year. Obviously not the same people but west coast teams are high budget and put on one heck of a show at the regional level as well. I'd imagine that is the closest major sprint car track to you. Years ago the world of outlaws raced in Alberta and Manitoba but they haven't done that in awhile.
Almost looked like Marks car had a "go extra fast" button. That car was hooked up! I'm a Brad Sweet fan myself, but he was lucky he got the win tonight.

@@joshwenrich9137 DD just recently cried about losing to Anthony Macri due to lap traffic as he has in many races over the years. But he seems to forget when he is one of these cars that get in the way when he gets lapped like in this Outlaws race at Lincoln.
If that was an outlaw leading at the end of the race they would have thrown a caution to save his first place. I’ve seen this multiple times when the outlaws come to pa.
Lincoln is a great track to see close racing. Amazing run by Brent Marks. Almost taken out by a spinning car while leading and still finished second. Would've liked to have seen Lance at the end. Too bad he lost a motor. Macri is looking more impressive every year!
You know what’d be cool for a caution light, if somebody made an actual light pole that changed g/r/y and some of the other flags . Looks like a telephone pole but with thousands of LEDs, maybe smaller pole
There's no transmission in these cars. Just the engine hooked straight up to the wheels essentially. They need the push trucks because they don't have a "neutral" gear to start in. Once the engine starts, the wheels start moving, so they need to get pushed to fire the engine.
The flagman for the world of outlaws nos energy sprint cars need to be more consistent on the yellow flags one week you have a driver loop it and they keep on going yellow flag is thrown but during this race same situation different night of racing and the yellow flag isn't brought out
Terrible break for Marks. Not the first time I have seen Schatz let one slip away when catching tail end of lap traffic. This generally is the tell tell sign of "AGE", "Extra Careful", "Minimal Risk". Not to say he is not Still Fast, but this is when the beginning of the end creeps in when you have a family and a nest egg. Simply is what it is. I could be wrong but the eye test appears to speak for itself.
Donny Schatz was doing good but just got hung up in slow traffic. If he could somehow hold it together towards the end when closing out a race. He needs to ride the higher cushion instead of the lower cushion through most of the race. Schatz seems to have problems getting around slower cars which seemed at times they were more less blocking instead of racing. Donny Schatz is got to be really pissed with a 5th place finish which he had top 3 car in the race. There would be some pretty heated words exchanged in the Pits.

Great track. Takes some serious skill to get past the lapped cars. Green 5 stayed in front of the leaders final 8 laps or so.

They are going to two tracks in Washington state in 2023 including a 3 day show at Skagit speedway which is an awesome place to watch a race.

Didn't actually lose a motor as we found out, just too much smoke to continue and didn't want to risk it, no actual damage to anything.
