Scott Snyder's Batman run is iconic and there hasn't been any iconic stories since (unless you count Damned 😬) also i love the idea of a Batman with no money. I'll definitely be checking out that Martian Manhunter book if that gets made
It's the dark and edgy universe and it's yet another reimagining of the characters. While this would be eaiser to get into vs Marvel anything right now i know Superman or somebody similar will fix the universe so it can be remade for another first issue number series
The original attempt for an alternate universe line of comics by DC was All-Star Superman & All-Star Batman & Robin. The idea was dropped after Frank Miller's All-Star B&R was rejected by the fans.
@Spider-Knight2099-ze2oh yeah Earth-One wasn't like a full blown attempt to an alternate line of comics it was an initiative to release graohic novels (Hard Covers) to see how the market responded. They could've done more from that series if they weren't so delayed.
I heard a rumor that darkseid not only created the absolute universe but HE IS the absolute universe itself so technically he's gonna be like a celestial from the mcu
