Great review Aleks. If you listen to the lyrics, there is a sense of regret in this song. Myles went through a dark place in his late 20's. I believe it was drug related. He lost a friend after a night of partying and he changed his life knowing it could have been him. There are a number of his songs with Slash that deal with this, too.
When this somg released it tooke a while to like it.
