    Tone is so sweet and incredible playing. Some sort of rig rundown would be awesome to see about gear your using.

    • @dmnguitarist
      @dmnguitarist  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      My rig is pretty simple so that would be a short video. I just use an Axe FX 3 for everything. I could break down what's in the presets though. That way people could get an idea how to get a piece of that sound with normal pedals and what not. Good idea. Thanks for posting!

    Love the tone on this one and the composition is quite tasty, sir.

      I didn't even realize it but the backing track is actually a Buckethead piece. I thought it sounded familiar but didn't think much of it until afterwards.

      It's definitely one of my favorites and one of the models I've been recommending to people. Go for it!

    This guitar seems to be your new favourite
    How do the distortion pups compare to a jb?
    Thanks for these tasty late night sessions man
    Just killer!!!

      I can't say I really have a favorite but I do like this one a lot. It just feels right and I love how you can really dig into the strings on a hardtail without hearing the springs from the trem reacting to it and ringing. It's so simple it kind of reminds me of an old hot rod. Nothing there that doesn't serve a purpose. A kind of powerful simplicity. Can't explain it any other way in my current condition. 🤣
      I haven't directly compared it to anything with the JB in it but I'll try to remember to do that. Just going by my gut I'd say the distortions might be a little brighter.
      Thanks for always commenting brother I appreciate it! 🤘

    Such a great playing! I was thinking of getting either this or the gray one , does the satin wear off fast? I think a natural kind of aging would be cool on those !

    • @dmnguitarist
      @dmnguitarist  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah satin finishes are very soft and not durable at all. This model having a pickguard, the only spot that will start to show wear before too long is the part on the body that your forearm touches. If you like your guitars to age quickly satin is a good way to go. I like how it's not "grippy" at all. My forearm sticks to poly finishes sometimes which is a little annoying.

    Very Nice Play!
    How's the tension on the hardtail?

      The tension is perfect. Nice and silky action. Love this guitar. Definitely one of my favorites.

    I just found your channel and am on the fence on this guitar or the Marco Sfogli one which one do you prefer?

    • @dmnguitarist
      @dmnguitarist  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I play this one more, for whatever reason. I like both of them though. I can't say I really think one is "better" than the other. Just different. Drastic difference in price though. I got a good deal on both of mine but these hardtails with even just a small dealer discount are such a good value. Great guitar for the money. Paid $719 for it as a store demo. $1130 for the Marco (used and including a hardshell case). $1600 for the Marco brand new is a bit much imo.

      @@dmnguitarist I ordered the gold HSS version for €850, it will arrive tomorrow do excited. Will monitor the used market for the sfogli one. I already have a strat with the Steve Lukather set so the seymours made more sense. Thanks for the reply!

    Assuming this guitar handles high gain tones pretty well? Been looking for a super strat style that I can gig some punk with.

      It's got Duncan Distortions in it so it should be fine for that. 👍

    Is the neck shape same? Hoping it would be thicker than in recent years.

    • @dmnguitarist
      @dmnguitarist  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It's definitely not thicker. If anything it looks thinner than the 2019 San Dimas next to it.

    @3.51 😀 you definitively don't need to play with 2 hands.
