HB copies???????????? There is no such thing as HB copies. If a pickup is a humbucker, IS a humbucker. You probably mean a PAF; but then again, a PAF is a PAF is a PAF
@@maraviyoso8473 There are "HB format" copies of Wide Range pickups, champ. "HBs"care generally regarded as a standard size, so are interchangeable on thousands of guitars, Inc the Gibsons. The WR copies coils, base and covers are smaller and the mags are not CuNiFe. There are also Fender WR that don't use the right mags or windings. ;-)
Don't like the sound. At least in this video. Sounds awful to my ears. And for some reason, these pickups aren't wax potted. Good luck if you try to throw a lot of gain on them in a live setting. Had a Strat with a Shawbucker. no thanks. Unfortunately.
Does it not say Fender Telecaster on the headstock? It may not be the classic single coil telecaster that you are thinking of, but it is a Telecaster nontheless. Just a different kind of Telecaster.
A helpful review: no talking, lots of playing thru all of the features, and descriptive subtitles. Thank you!
Awesome Tele
finally a Tele with humbucker s and a traditional headstock
Squier tele Custom, J5 signature, chris shifftlet, etc.
And no silly gloss on the back.
These are not good humbuckers.
@@thestuffmikedoes2309 yours is not a good opinion.
@@maraviyoso8473correct: opinions are opinions, neither good nor bad!
If only they found players that could demonstrate all the possible voices of these guitars...
looks great
Beautiful guitar.
And I also feel like I'm in a GC listening to this!
essa cor é bem legal
I WANT ONE!
Nice, but I still prefer my MIM tele deluxe 72 :)
bartni who cares?clearly you want an american made one just can't afford it that fine
gus dupree can you?
looks beautiful, not sure i'd pay £1500 for it though.
Are they cunife pole Wide Ranges or just HB copies?
Hb copies sadly....
Shawbuckers are Tim Shaw AlNiCo humbuckers made especially for Fender. They're not copies, but not CuNiFe.

@@Dr-Curious NO. They're NOT copies of the Wide Range and you just answered your own question. They are "PAF humbuckers" with a different voicing.
These shawbuckers or the traditional single coil, wich one produces more noise?
Noise, as in hum? The Shawbuckers should be pretty quiet, proper single coils always produce hum.
Did the word "bucker" fly over your head?
but it doesn't have a seymor duncan...
MardukFilms that pickups is shawbucker pickups there not high out put pickups there like vintage out put pickups
and. . .
Is it just me or does this sound like a Gretsch
Sound like a Gretsch?? Does every single Gretsch guitar sound the same?
can you make the pick guard any uglier? shows lack of detail -- make it big to hide sloppy routing.
Sunshine Winter It’s a Tele Deluxe. That’s the way the pick guards have been on the Tele Deluxe since 1972 or whenever.
Prove it
Blake Wright Who are you talking to?
arlingtonhynes sorry. Was referring to the guy who said it was to hide bad routing.
Blake Wright Ah ok. I guess that guy knows as much about CNC as he does about Telecasters.
'Start me up' much? :)
'Laser Love' by T. Rex (1976) several years before 'Start Me up' .
Looks like another 72 custom with normal headstock..

Just change pickups to Lollar regals
Just had mine potted professionally. Well worth it - the guitar is actually usable now!
@@Creaulx I did the same, but still want to replace them. The shawbuckers seem to look a little smaller. Do you know if a regelar humbucker would fit?
@@GIBBIE7777 Apparently not without replacing the pickguard due to the design. My Tele Deluxe is now my #1.
That's why you are scratching your balls while people buy them and make music with them

It's a telecaster. still has that signature tone.
You do realize that Fender made Tele customs with humbuckers in the 70s right? This is merely a more modern take on that same instrument
It is a Telecaster. If Fender says it's a Telecaster, IT'S A TELECASTER
