Did you know that the world-famous “JCB Dancing Diggers” all began in 1962 to show the strength of the hydraulics in the JCB backhoe? JCB showed off its early backhoe design by lifting the machine over a car. This stunt would become the inspiration for the JCB dancing diggers! What originated as a visual designed by Joseph Cyril Bamford (Mr. JCB) to prove the machine’s hydraulics, has turned into a unique act that is known around the world today.
