Useful video. But why it shows status as "pending initial scan" for long time..... It never shows "scanning"

can Inspector also do static source code analysis?

Thanks for your comment. If your code is in Lambda, it can. For static source code analysis on AWS, you might want to consider using other services or tools. AWS CodeBuild, AWS CodePipeline, and AWS CodeCommit, for example, are services that can be used in combination with third-party static code analysis tools like SonarQube, Checkmarx, or others.

Is there way in new Aws inspector, can we send report directly to mail

Thanks for your comment. Very interesting. You can use boto3 client and write down a script which can send email using aws ses service or if you have any personal email client that will also do the trick.
