You need to reinstall the addon in MO2 and choose the DLTX Crafting option. Good point, and I agree. It's a bit too good. However, you can already invalidate all emissions the moment you get yourself at least one (1) Anabiotic. Considering Anabiotics do nothing apart from skipping time two hours ahead, it costs nothing to use one when taking cover is not an option. No enemies spawn around you after using one, as far as I can tell, and the enemy squads around you won't move closer (or anywhere else) either. The few exceptions (such as being in a fight when an emission starts) already are mostly irrelevant unless you are fighting factions who are immune to emissions. I bet you can use Anabiotics behind cover during a gunfight and get away with it.
I think it is good for place like truck cemetary when it is large, almost no cover and your only option is antibiotic but if you dont have and you playing ironman, it is over
When there are over 500 decent (or not) mods that exist for that game THEN he gets ALL the permission to use AND edit the mods to fit into his pack MAYBE we will see a gamma for stalker 2.
The part about tool progression sounds like it will just stop you from getting high tier tools before you get lower tier tools, not give you high tier tools after you got low tier ones. So you still might get several basic tools before you get advanced tools etc.
That is correct. I worded it improperly but yes, you need to get Basic before you can get Advanced & you have to get Advanced before you can Expert. It's like an pre-requisite unlock. Ofc that doesn't mean you are guaranteed to get the next set of tools immediately after obtaining one of them. I had just woken up when I read the patch notes so this is 100% on me
Regarding the confusion for the NVG thing, it's because you can buy T1 and 2 NVGs from the ecologists; early game I usually rush Yantar to snipe T1 NVGs rather then crafting them, to save electronic parts for either Bear detector or kill-track PDA. Now you cant do that.

Something that would require meds to get in shape faster? Artifacts crafting using mutant parts is nice reference to classic Stalker ShoC series of mods called Solanka/Narodnaya Solyanka. Well technically the patch did come out at 3pm. On the other side of the planet. Also I think hiding in a concrete pipe should shield you from an emission same as being in a building depending on the length of the pipe and it's position in relation to the direction of the emission. Open end facing the emission not going to help much but the length of the pipe facing the emission especially a longer pipe and your in the middle it should work.
I know I used the example of hiding in a pipe but you can literally hide under ANYTHING. In the stream I hit under a tiny bit of concrete and that was good enough. Emissions are now completely useless.
Why not both? They’re good for different things. GAMMA is more of a do whatever ever type game that focuses on progression, but I don’t consider it a real STALKER experience. STALKER 2 on the other hand is a true STALKER sequel that feels like the OG games.
I had a ton of crashes. If an NPC was previously holding a gun that had been removed then it causes a memory access violation when changing zones. In order to solve it you had to sleep over & over until the NPC died.
The BRN-180 might end up being a meaningful addition for WP factions. It's basically an AR-15 but this one is chambered in 7.62x39, I found one just a little earlier and and was surprised that was the chosen calibre. IMO 7.62x39 has been desperate for a really solid and versatile option in the middle high end that isn't quite as cracked out high end as the ISG rifles, and the BRN might end up giving us that depending on its performance.
