Fighting makes suffering worse. I can accept where I am TODAY - NOW. Pain in life is inevitable. Suffering is optional.

@@theshilhuette8964 it took a while for me to feel comfortable even just walking because I was so afraid of the high heart rate! First you have to let go of the fear of the high heart rate if that bothers you. know that your heart is healthy if you’ve been told that by a doctor and start slow :) I started with floor workouts, like Pilates, then my stationary bike which I’m now able to do for like 40 minutes with ankle weights on lol. start building your leg muscles using resistance bands as well which will help w lowering the heart rate. Watching dans videos every morning truly helped me get out of bed and helped me understand that I was healthy, reminding me that I had an amped up nervous system and I needed to learn to self soothe and that really helped stabilize my heart rate. Before my heart would shoot up to 150 just standing out of bed now it stays at 70-80, I still have high heart rate at times but I remind myself I was healthy before Covid and my heart is strong, the doctor told me everything is normal. I was also vegan at the time and started eating eggs and chicken again and started feeling more normal, before I was in constant fight or flight now I’m able to regulate faster. You got this you’ll improve over time❤️

Sunny & blue just like you! Thank you for this. Acceptance is powerful. Resistance on the other hand only gives the message that there is something "legitimate" to resist against..(whereas in actuality/reality its just a "perceived" threat/scared brain)...so therefore is not real..so what's to resist!! Reacting to a perceived threat as though it were real perpetuates the illusion. It's taken my brain as long as it's taken to download this & it's still learning!! Loving blessings to all. ❤

BASHAR: making changes in your life: When you stop needing things to be a certain way you have ability to allow them to be as you prefer them to be… to change them ( transfer them) to prefer something else.
So stop needing things to be a certain way. To accept it.

Great guy, great videos. Just wondering about symptoms being so bad and feeling under pressure about not being able to work. Any tips there? Almost impossible not to feel time pressured in that situation. I've had TMS related issues in the past, I'm a firm believer in PDP and TMS. Has helped me before. With latest symptoms, dizziness, it is so bad that I cannot work. Feeling very trapped. Want to be indifferent but struggling due to job pressures.

Omg.. î’m so excited to share a win!
So I have pain for almost 20 years now ( migraine, headaches, fibromyalgia, insomnia, heart palpitations, and severe IBS!
Almost à month ago I knew my family and friends we’re gonna visit so I said to myself : I’m done with eating so restricted, that’s a 13 year- symptom !!
Even with fodmap - diet, I had bloating and severe abdominal pain 3 times a day for 3 hours.. so basically 9 hours a day, 13 years !
I challenged my brain, got severe pains the first week and then it SHIFTED !!
    No pain !
Can you imagine !!?? I am in France 🇫🇷 for 5 years now and couldn’t eat their lovely 🧀 cheese, baguettes 🥖 croissant 🥐 etc..
    Now I can!! Without pain..
Sometimes a little discomfort but it goes away quickly..
I was told to be incurable !
I felt incurable ! And now I’m like a kid in the supermarket, running around with a big smile and great appetite 😜!
The only problem is that for the first time in my life ,I will have to watch my weight Hihihi !
    But I love it!
I can go to restaurants again, it’s mind blowing.
Now I have to tackle my other symptoms above too.. but already I’m the most happy person on this planet 🌎.
Just wanted to share that today !
Have a great day Dan , I am super grateful to you ❤❤❤

    • @myggggeneration
      @myggggeneration 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

Hi. :-) Dan does often takes back the claim/goal of "feeling safe", since that is really not fully feasible. But you can feel as safe as possible given your circumstances and given the careful consideration you give to your safety as you prepare to step out of your bubble.
Prior to watching this talk, I spoke to my councelor. He is not in favor of talking about safety... (we are speaking of anxiety issues .) He stumped me when he asked me "what is your relationship to your anxiety?". It seemed like a no-brainer to me - I want to be rid of it ASAP, it isolates me from everything. Wrong answer. *I need to learn to accept my symptoms, learn to live with them.* Then they will eventually fade away since they don't forcast real danger. Real experiences will inform the trajectory and speed of that lived realization.
Is this the disconnect (lack of acceptance) that you are experiencing as well? What my councelor said, and what Dan said in this video are the same thing. Acceptance is foundational.
      >>>>> *Change your relationshio to your symptoms.*
