There was a vote for all top 16 players to see who they think is the #1 player. 15/16 players voted for Serral, including Serral himself. 1/16 players voted for Dark. I know, it sounds like a funny dentist statistic where 9/10 dentists recommend this toothpaste. It was Dark who voted for himself. Someone made a meme of it by holding a sign in the audience with a drawing of Dark awarding Dark a medal. It’s a variant meme of Obama awarding Obama a medal. Winter covered it in the first minute of this video:

In game one we saw why showtime is called "Mauer"
oddly enough, i remember that more than anything hero's done. matter of fact, i can't remember ANYTHING that stands out in memory that he's done. from a championship to a specific play, nothing off the bat (winter thumbnails being the cheatsheet). idk if it's a dis but aside from Dark, idk why dark/hero matches are like winter's favorite to cast.

Game 2 missed how dark sniped all the high templars one at a time. That's why showtime ran out of storms.

The queens used to fly , I missed out on a lot.
There used to be a unit called "queen" in Starcraft 1 that could fly, but it had nothing in common with SC2 queens except the name. It was more of a flying Infester.

It seems like Void Rays are almost never used by Protoss? Why?
main thing is they don't synergize with the Protoss army. they're not the best pick vs any enemy unit and they're 4 supply a piece. specifically while the voidray beats the corrupter very cost efficiently with prismatic alignment, you can't really micro nixs with anything else, and the voids get wrecked by mutas.
especially when corruptors can just run away from prismatic alignment and kite the voids
PA can be baited and even at pro level they tend to clump & get devastated by parasitic bomb.
Voids kill capital units and buildings steadily, much like Corruptors, although, unlike Voids, they do not kill Thor or Ultra.
Voids not fast enough here, with heavy Stalker\Archon support maybe.
Storm makes it tricky, although it doesn't hurt robo much, Zealots will die.
One or Two Vipers would have wrecked all of it though.
Dark was playing really well though, didn't need Vipers; more cannons\Archons on the mineral line, Phoenix\blinkers to box.

I wish my friends played this game but this game has a high learning curve. The game demands too much to be “fun” for a casual shmuck
...on the other hand it's never been hard to get a game, and someday you too can know the joy of wrecking noobs on the ladder with mines, pixels on a screen baby.
Honestly, it's not too hard to have fun at low skill levels, if it's not pvp. It's one of the biggest reason why Coop is so popular. It's also not the worst to learn if you're used to using the keyboard and mouse. These days tho, people are more used to tablets and controllers.

There were moments when one more storm would have erased around 120 supply in the air.
