Nice job and amazing finishing brother. Like from India.
Thanks mate!
That's a really beautiful finish 😍- last time we both released a vice video the same day. Now we both did a wrench 🤣

Nice satin finish, well done.👍
Thanks mate!

Perfect indeed! 👏
Thank you! 🙏🏼
Chef´s kiss!!!
Thank you! 🙏🏼
You tried to achieve a nice finish surface and I know is a lot of work for doing this, for that I congratulate you. Hard work pay off 👍
Thank you so much, I really appreciate it!
great job
Thank you!
I have been watching a few restoration channels lately and you are a cut above what I have seen with your attention to detail👍. Well done and I subscribed to see what lies ahead😃
Thank you for your support, much appreciated!
Oh this is lovely, I'm a sucker for good filing technique 😍
Thank you joanna!
I wonder how long it took you in real time. A job well done again.
Thank you! On this restoration I worked about five or six days I think and maybe about 14 hours? I don’t really keep track of that. Btw the editing and all the behind the scenes stuff is not included in those six days and 14 hours.
But this was actually a pretty “fast” project..
Another masterpiece! Such a pleasure to watch! Thank you 💕
Thank you so much, much appreciated!
Nice job (as usual 😉). I love that matte finish you chose
Thank you Jerome!
Your surface finishes are beyond compare.
Edit: Do you believe the handle was cut down to fit a particular repair or for onboard storage? This looks similar to an adjustable wrench I cleaned up in a similar way and the handle end looked the same.
Thank you so much!
muy buen trabajo, Saludos
Thank you!
Fantastic restoration cobba 😉
Thank you !
@DrHutOfHandcraft cobba is another Australian way of saying MATE. 😉

🙏🏼
So good ii boss 👍👍😊😊😍
🙏🏼🙏🏼
Fantástica restauração, ficou acho que mais bonito que novo.
Thank you 🙏🏼
It looks beautiful this way, but compromised to rust, I thought you re gonna plate it, or blue it.
Thank you. Oiling with Oil spray is enough for rust protection, plating or bluing is not always needed :)
Nice, but what about rust prevention?
Thank you!
The oil spray is enough rust protection 🙂
Not bad for 8 minutes of work 😆
Well .. yeah if it only would have been 8 min 😄
I am betting.....New....That Wrench did not look that good......Nice work!!!!
Thank you so much! 🙏🏼
Excellent. beautiful! One thing I can't figure out... how much actual time (average) do you spend on each restoration? Obviously, some take much more time than others, however have you kept track of the total time involved in each restoration? I think it would be fun to know, thanks! Be well, be safe!
Thank you very much!
Well I don't really keep track on how many hours I work on every project and as you said it is very different between the projects. I think I can say that every project takes a minimum working time of about 15 hours, but that would be the absolute minimum and probably that is even too less. But the arbor press for example took a LOT more time. It also depends on what exactly I do for a project. For this adjustable wrench only the sanding of the surface took about six hours I think.
So I can't really tell you an average time..
But you have to keep in mind that is only the actual working time in the shop. A lot happens behind the scenes like getting and searching for material, doing research, thinking about how to do something, planing and of course editing the video. I don't really talk about that stuff on TH-cam, but I do in my Patreon vlogs so most people don't really know about that.
I hope I could answer your question..
What medium did you use for sandblasting??
Glass beads 100-200μm
Nice. But what about rust protection?
Thank you!
I am confident that it won’t rust if you just put a little oil spray on it. That did work for everything for me, for example the ratchet I restored didn’t rust yet 🙂
💚💚💚
❤️❤️❤️
BRAVO!!! 👏👏👏🇧🇷
🙏🏼
👍
🙏🏼
comment for the algorithm
😄
No grease on the moving parts?
The oil spray is enough 🙂
This wrench about 60 years old
Thanks for the info
👏👏👏👏👏
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
what did u meant by the text at the end?
The current situation in iran.
😍
🙏🏼
😮😮😮
🙏🏼🙏🏼
I'm thinking you'll probably want to cold-blue it or something, or it's gonna tarnish again in no time.
Thanks for your comment! I oiled it and that is enough when you keep it clean 🙂 It didn’t rust yet and looks like just in the video when it was finished
Good video.
Great finished product.
Got my sub.
No music, please.
The amount of professionalism you put in your video is overshadowed by cheesey music. Just my opinion.
Thank you for your comment 🙏🏼 I personally like the music at the end with the before and after pictures, but thanks for the criticism. 🙂
👏👍👏👍👏👏👍👏👏😋👏👍
🙏🏼
А где защита?
Oilspray is enough protection
nice tool but incomplete work
Why incomplete?
I'm glad you didn't paint it, but why in the world didn't you at least nickel place it.
Because In my opinion it is not necessary and I am suspecting that I have a nickel allergy, even though it’s luckily not very strong
It will rust again
nope, it won’t
@@DrHutOfHandcraft sure, not for a while. But a coat of oil will not stay forever. It doesn’t offer the same protection as blueing. But nice work!
@@mixdiver12 Of course, but you can oil it every now and then to prevent rust. I will use this wrench often, so I will always oil it :)
@@DrHutOfHandcraft fair enough. So you did not blued it because you wanted to stay with that chrome look instead of a black matte finish… Fair enough man
@@mixdiver12 Yes I wanted it to have a “natural” and satin metal look. I love cold bluing, but cold bluing a a finish for the whole part is just not my taste.
Thank you for your comment!
Ya know, if it is old and has no casting marks, l wouldn't buy it or own it !! All you restorers ruin the character of the tools by overdoing it!!!
It isn’t for sale anyway 😂
masterpiss
Thank you
