Great one! In our Country they're prohibbed, but I made myself one. Just....to have one! Now I can use my over 25 years of Medieval swordfightinstructions (Tahlhoffer) with it!
well done you get the subscription. I like the hand carved block very smart using the bandsaw to get the profile. I would have made a shorter stouter blade.
Thanks for the compliment (and for the sub). And since the whole thing is mostly decorative anyway, I kind of wanted to play around with a super long blade.
I’ve watched a LOT of videos of swordcanes being made, and I’ve got to say yours turned out the best by far. Very well done! 👍
Wow! I have watched some too and I can’t say I agree with you, but thanks anyway!
As Bob Vila says you did a better job than I could. He coined the phrase measure twice and cut once🤪👍🏻✨
I guess I can thank Bob Vila then! I think measure once cut twice fits a bozo like me better!
Dude! That is amazing and it was definitely worth the wait. Also, that’s a steady hand that can route out the scabbard groove freehand with a router.
Thanks! Still not sure it was worth the wait, but it's pretty cool either way.
Great work
Thank you, it took me about three months so it should be good!
it looks so awsome!👏👏👏
Thank you! 😊

“Made one just to have one” I love that!

Nice job! 👏
Thanks! It took me a really long time but I think it was worth it.
That is beautiful --
Thank you! It's not quite as nice in real life.
Amazing 👏👏
Thanks 🔥
