I was looking for this, especially the first turns and those are the once you skipped :-(

Was looking forward to a big final clash with both battleships, guess it was not meant to be.
Did not understand why Red split his forces at the end when Blue had a fleet including a large ship nearby, ready to pounce on the weaker of the two.
Moon is the crescent moon shaped with three stars, planet is the one that looks like ... the planet Saturn with the orbital ring.
Thanks for the video, was interesting to see an endgame back-and-forth on the victory points, how raiding the enemy with a larger militia does not automatically lead to 1st place, nor does reaching the treshold of 10.

I was trying to make that happen but ran out of turns. Thanks for watching and posting.

Interesting game, I like how people get more involved. I play a lot of 40k, and I've found the turns per player to be a bit long winded and gets boring as another player. Has a ton of pieces though, I could see this being a real pain to setup and put up.
Overall, I think its a decent design from a video game adaptation. I have 4 friends who all regularly play 40k, so hopefully someone in our group picks this up.

Just fyi, ISK is literally pronounced “ISK” by EVE players. Source: a former EVE player…. :)

Can we consider that this game is a race game ?
Because, somehow, the first to get 10VP ... well ... have the most VP.
If second player have 8 VP, that means he have to score 3 points and first player 0 in One turn ! Which seems very very unlikely to happend for me for a game that last 2 hours.
Or am I missing something ?

I can see your point and I can't say for sure as I haven't played it with others, but from my experience with it there are many ways of having big turns with large point gains. Most of the cards in your area are kept hidden from other players which also makes a big difference. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts. Hope you enjoyed the video;)

Still watching this and only 13m in, but just a heads up since you hated calling the currency i-s-k, quick way to pronounce the currency is as a word - isk, like in the word frisk, for short. Most if not all of us in EVE Online, the video game IP this is utilising, call it that. :) It's a shame your camera is on auto focus and keeps shifting, I'd have loved to see the component quality, even though it might change still, with full clarity.

Sorry about that both for the ISK thing which makes it obvious I have never played EVE online and with the auto focus thing. I was very short on time and missed the fact that the camera was on auto focus as with most of my videos I switch it over to manual so that doesn't happen. Thanks for watching and posting. Hope you found the rest of the video helpful;)

Nice video. Absolutely unplayable board game. I think people who pre ordered the game bought it just to have it on a shelf, or to have ship miniatures, or never saw actual gameplay. I think lot of players still like EVE, and do not mind to spend some cash to have small plastic ships. Unfortunately ships are single colored, but they can be painted by hand later.

With all due respect, you've not met an EVE player.
They willingly sit through 200 hours of spreadsheet optimization and call that fun.

If you really think that's unplayable, the heaviest board game you've ever played must be Catan or something similar 😂

As an Eve player with a group of 10 friends who have both played, and not played eve, you're wrong in your assessment.
I'm looking forward to this game, and as for the other 2,000 backers within 1 month of being marketed, it seems others feel the same.
