    Was hoping to see more of Sasaki. Feel bad for Marines fans given how close they were. Congrats also on 10k subscribers!

    This should be a great series. The Hawks automatically have the edge with their automatic win but the Fighters were really the only team to challenge them consistently during the year. Especially at the end of the season it felt like the Fighters just kept coming out on top (although the Hawks might've been stepping off the gas a little after clinching). If the Hawks take it in 3 I wouldn't be surprised but I think the Fighters will get a game or two at least.

    Arihara’s success in japan amazes me. I guess he really couldnt adjust to the mlb ball.
    Also, kinda intriguing to see a lot of ex-fighters like Kondoh and Arihara star for the hawks

    I gotta wonder: is the ghost win basically NPB's solution to the extra time off/bye week for the top seeded team in Pacific and Central League? As a Dodger fan, it just intrigues me.

      it more like one "guaranteed win" as a "reward" for winning the pennants.

      Its an incentive to win the pennant. Season performance means a lot in NPB since it secures home field advantage for the 2nd seed in the first round along with a guaranteed win and a bye round for the 1st seed as well.

    Pulling for Nippon Ham. I don't watch a lot of PL games, but I like the youth and potential of the Fighters and the fact that Darvish and Ohtani are alumni. Either way one of these teams needs to beat the Giants!

    How did they get the ghost win

    • @PierreGHedgehog
      @PierreGHedgehog 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      simply put npb rules where the first place team gets a ghost win in the final stage of the plcs

      @@miscellaneous3620 they will still play the full 7 games its just the hawks have a 1 win advantage meaning they only have to win 3 games to move to the japan series

    Sasaki san been rested to much if you can't play several games in a row as a pitcher you won't handle mlb .

    • @LotteBlueJays
      @LotteBlueJays 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Pitchers don't pitch multiple games in a row in MLB. And how would Sasaki have helped the Marines in that series against the fighters? He won his game, they lost the 2nd game in the 9th inning, and they were down halfway through the final one. Where does an elite pitcher on short/no rest factor into that?

    Of course rooting for the Hawks, but Fighters have good spirit! Good matches to come!
