AA started in the 1930s so there was somewhere to get help .just started listening interesting to see how the play handles such a serious subject .I am in AA and 7 yes sober
@@ladyabstinencelevain8696 I worked in a shelter for many years and it did not have to do with addiction, but many people coming through there were addicts, sober, or clean, many were recently and In that neighborhood there are two pubs on every block. I don’t know if you know New York City or not, but it was on the upper east side. These people stayed clean and sober in an area like that! They became super heroes to me. I’m talking about a lot of bars surrounding that place. I learned, even when someone is determined there can be slips for a day or a week, before quitting actually takes hold, but the way people stuck to it, no matter what…before that I only knew my husbands drinking. He would pray to god to stop his drinking. That was his big effort. It was a short marriage. I know, blah, blah, blah. I just wanted you to know I meant what I said. And on topic, how great is this channel! Lol
