I love hearing rain sounds outside, while lying in my bed with my dog. Thank you for that great video. One day, I have to get a tent and spend a rainy night outside with my dog as well.
Thank you - yes agreed I find camping videos much more relaxing to watch than regular TV. Work is stressful but getting out or watching the outdoors is a real help 👍🤩
Thanks Richard. I have never thought of using a set up like that. Wonder if that would have been helpful on your coast to coast adventure? The stormy night you had on that hike is one of my favourite videos….probably not yours though 😂😊
Hi Scott maybe but not sure about that set up in high wind it would need to be tied down much more. I think a good low profile tent would have been better
The 'higgledy piggledy' tarp set up looked good as it goes, Richard. Certainly gave you good coverage didn't it? Sometimes a day camp is as good as an overnighter, don't you think?
Not sure what would have happened in high winds Tim, but it was fine last Saturday as the storm had lost its force by the time it got to us. Day camping has a lot going for it you get to test your kit without losing any sleep 😴👍😄
@@DayTripperAdventures Normally you’d have had more gut lines to secure your tarp down. But you were fortunate that day. You’d have coped for sure. You do indeed get to test your kit on day camps. Best time, eh?! I’m happy to see you heading out to the wooded areas again. My kind of interest.
love your videos bro. they calm my nerves
Thank you, Good me too
Camping in the rain is the best
Yes as long as it’s not continuous for a few days 👍
I love the ticking of the rain on my tent (at night !)
It’s very relaxing when you know you are staying dry
Very cosy, loved the sound of being out in the rain and not getting wet. 😎❤️🇬🇧
Did you recognise the camping spot? ❤️😄👍

The experience is even better in a tent as long as you set up before the rain
Love, love that sound!
Very relaxing Ben once you know you are set up and dry

Thanks Richard...a nice, relaxing watch after a stressful day 😌🙂👍
