The video is about a woman being abused by her partner, but the original inspiration for the song was children being abused by their parents.
Been looking for this song for 12 years and finally found it I had bought a mp3 player at wal mart and this song was already downloaded on there and actually the first and best song I heard on my mp3 player and someone stole it from the library and I was like damn what was that song name and when I head the start of the guitar which is very noticeable how it starts off is recognizable finally found it 😁
I liked this song from a band that I now heard for the 1st time. It was enjoyable instrumentally, but especially the meaningful lyrics impacted me the most.
The vocalist Ronnie Winter wrote this song for his parents, his mother was abused by his father.
