I gave my Rakshasa the ability to use Animate Objects 1/day. It fits beautifully in their spellcasting kit along with the whole "manipulator" vibe and ensures that no matter where they pop up they will always have some kind of minions to use for their fight.
Rakshasa: one of the go-to’s charismatic scheming and shapeshifting high-level villains (or the villain’s inferiors) that perhaps is better defeated without direct combat unless you DM him as unlikable af

i am more interested in dnd lore but i love the method of integrating the lore, stats and features, and using the monsters book is very good
