This episode would've been a lot better if the worker bees were female. Not only because it's how it works in real life, but Carl needs to get in touch with his feminine side to work on his figure, and female drama is so much spicier.

If I'm not mistaken the primary reason bees die is because they have no frame of combat outside of what they do for the queen. And when you consider how they characterized her here, it doesn't surprise me that bees evolved to be mindless. Meanwhile a hornet can get away with it several times. They're not going whole hog like a man who doesn't know how to throw a punch. Their stinger connects off instinct. Being closest to their primary attack forme
Just occurred to me. If they didnt, you could probably, make this show by throwing darts at a wall of unrelated randoms to be mixed into funny. How else do you get a moth out front in a Dracula bus talking to food monsters?
