I've always used FF build from start of the season. Felt weaker than spellslinger, but changes to hero tree def improved it, and it's more enjoyable imo. Love this!
Loving this series. My team stopped at 10's. That was good enough for us. We are still doing a 10 a week to try and get myth track items, but that's it.
Where does frost mage damage come from??? I sim my character and pick the best gear and I see lower frost mages pumping higher than me especially in burst.
5:15 The only thing I wanna say about this pull is, focus the voss and let adds for to cleave. They die super fast anyway with Bl and CDs and you need to save as much time as possible killing this boss fast
I play ff and push into 12's and 13's with pugs. Here is the difference in the way I play with death's chill. The ideal number is eight, but if glacial is up, I will shatter glacial with an ice lance, then pump to get that 8 minimum after hitting icy veins. I am crit-capped so my sims are different. Here are my thoughts and here is what the sims say. With death's chill, you lose quite a few blizzard moments or frost fire bolt delays re-casting blizzard procs. I dumped blizzard and freezing, kept splintering ice (2), and picked up cold front. This sims a whopping 6,000 behind your spec. Testing in an in-game pug setting is less since the packs are usually not positioned perfectly. My overall no aug is anywhere from 1.5 to 1.9 mil depending on the dungeon. My boss damage is 1.4 to 1.6 million no aug single and multi-target is of course high. I've gone to 5 mil in large aoe packs, but most are small so I sit around 2 million somewhere.
Love to see the progress - just a question; where are you seeing that we should be running deaths chill? I’ve got an alt frost mage and saw nothing about running that and just wanting to see if I was looking in the wrong places
Any chance you can share your UI? Would love to see your build as well! I would like to give mage a spin, never have been able to find that class to be very fun after being melee or tank for so long.
Don't think the initial comment about the overall damage is fair. There was a augmentation evoker in his party. I would like to see clean dps and damage numbers without evoker buffs and or PI buff from priests. That way the puggers have a more clear picture of their own contribution to the party.
If u have played tank in High Keys u know that u cannot afford globals because ur mage is in melee :) - u regen more Aggro in melee so just stay in ranged
Im so over these dungeons i cant run another run they all fucking blow. They gotta make a change to M+. Its just not the same, to think we have 2 more months at least really sucks unfortunately for the first time in many seasons im taking a break till season 2.
