I really like what I'm watching, despite seeing him only drag racing most of the time in his movies and simply being a speed demon. We actually see him here on the track racing properly and following the discipline, yes, racing is actually a discipline if taking seriously, if you don't, you cannot be fast. Racing isn't about mashing up the gas pedal to the metal. It's all about braking point, turning point, apexing, corner exits, smooth steering, braking and accelerating, and not to mention choosing your lines properly. Glad to see Paul Walker had the skill to back up his thirst for speed and adrenaline.
Its true, the top most demanding race disciplines would definitely have to be Formula One, and rally racing. Guys that drive those races have absurd amounts of skill.
@IncessanteSpirito What i learned from F&F 1. you can drive under the trailer of a semi 2.puttin an sr20 into a honda civic is a common swap according to johnny tran 3.having an idle air control sensor is actuelly a performance upgrade 4.The buster kept dom outta hand cuffs 5.parking garages are bad places to hide when running from police 6.competing in a drift battle in someone elses car after being told what drifting is only 5 minutes prior is a really bad idea
jep F1 is just cutting edge of what man and machine are capable of doing using the laws of physics to the extreme, rallye drivers are capable to do extremely dangerous moves in their cars in the dirt, biggest respect to both worlds of driving :D
And everything on the F1 car is the same way, insanely perfectionist. Brakes do nothing unless they are being constantly used because they are too cold, the tires have no grip unless they are being used hard, but use them too hard and they tear apart. I love F1, as far as I'm concerned the competitors in it shouldn't even be called drivers. At a minimum they are pilots. 19 controls on the steering wheel, constant readjustment of the slightest factor can mean winning or losing. Insane.
The M3 is a heavier car so it did well for what it is. It's not that the M3 is slow; THIS MINI is just that FAST. Just b/c it's a M3, you guys expect it to beat everything?!?! If you look at the times that these cars ran, then you'll see that the M3 did great in it's class. Paul Walker (Street RWD) 1:31.686; Berk Technology's 135i (Street RWD) 1:30.415; ABF MINI R53 Turbo (Super Modified FWD) 1:28.682; Tri-Point Mazda 1:28.212
@Caseybat94 i'm pretty sure its still fwd. i guess they've done some amazing suspension tuning and a put on a great set of tires, probably a softer compound. all i know is that it hauled
This is a very sad day...supposedly WE Filipinos must feel the same way about this very sudden event in the loss of Paul Walker. He was doing something very charitable car event raising relief help for disadvantaged children affected by economic and natural calamities. Let us stand together in prayer and let us sent our deepest sympathies to the bereaved family of Peter Walker. WE WILL MISS HIM FOR ALL THE WONDERFUL PERSON he was and for his heartfelt humanitarian concerns. His group REACH OUT WORLDWIDE has been helping victims of natural disasters around the world and his cause will never be forgotten. Whatever the cause he was doing the charity event... we all have to be very grateful for having him as a friend of the Philippines.
he was a friend of all the f&f series fans.....a real action hero.....it's unbelievably sad that he was 'gone' like this.....also humanitarian and a real car lover.....i imagine we could have been 'in another universe' very good&mutual friends.....my sympathies and prayers to his family and the philippines victims.....RIP PAUL.....I,WE ARE GONNA MISS U>>>>>hope Saint Christopher is leading you and your friend to heaven in his supercharged porsche carrera gt.....
May your soul rest in peace, amen! You are now in the kingdom of the Lord. Thank you for all the help you've done to the Philippines!Brave heart.... No one can stop him from helping the others... you are really an angel for the people of the philippines.you really sacrifice your life for helping other people.we extend our gratitude and condolences to your families.you are gone but you are not forgotten.rest in peace,mr.paul walker and god is with you now.all the filipinos people love you and dearly missed you.good man.
What I learned from watching a youtube video where people told other people what they learned from F&F. 1. People get butthurt over stupid stuff. 2. People "learned" things from an action movie 3. People actually thought that anything in F&F was more than just appearance upgrades 4. People think it matters what trim level an eclipse is.. As though some high trim would make the Eclipse more than a pile of shit 5. There were too many F&F movies, and there will be more 6. People can't read.
actually its a gs eclipse, i has a 420a fwd, you new cars you would no by the valve cover along with gsx = awd pretty sure it was just front tires spinning, also look at the gauge cluster, its a 420a gauge cluster as well, Thanks
@tehbabes well he is pretty much dead on, this Mini belongs to the older gen which is about 200 lbs lighter than the R56 models according to carfolio it is stock at approx. 2513 lb
@stoone113 obviously they don't know what their talking about, these are the same ppl who think your floor comes off when you use nitrous oxide. GSX's had sunroofs the 1 in the film didnt, GSX's are also 4WD(as you clearly stated) , but in the movie the car is clearly FWD
Turbo swapped Tritec original motor but turbo converted Popular swap for those wanting more than 400whp without any spray involved If you're interested there's a video on TH-cam that was in the forum I was in It's called "bomber at 23psi" btw that's low boost racing a modified C6 Zr1 Corvette Sadly the car got parted out when the guy sold it Got more for it parted vs selling It as a whole That was hard to see...
Khisanth76 is an engineer in physics and mechanics. With all his subjective notions in vehicles and good web searching skills he really knows of what he speaks. We can take it by the facts he "pulled out", Khisanth76 loves big things. *cough* We can derive this from his bias to bigger vehicles. From what he says we can conclude that everything you google, the Internet holds water in postulated comments and that the bigger and heavier it is *cough* the better for him. And thats a true axiom in
Sean Wang don't get me wrong, i respect those who pass away, all im saying is if you play with fire be prepare to get burn. He always have a choice to ask the driver to slow down.
Doesn't matter if he is a pro racer or the president of America, driving 80 to 100mph in a 45 mph road is dangerous and wrong. He should know better if he is really proffesional and respectful of the law.
Doesn't matter if he is a pro racer or the president of America, driving 80 to 100mph in a 45 mph road is dangerous and wrong. He should know better if he is really proffesional and respectful of the law.
i see we understand each other :D F1 is really the top of what engineers and "pilots" can reach... btw you know what would've happened if the fia would not set limits? a former F1 pilot (i think hakkinen) said that otherwise they would drive with 360kg light, 2000hp strong biturbo V12 cars o.O nobody would survive these g-forces for over 2 hous...
@doldei its a highly combustible highy oxygenated fuel, very dangerous and should not be used unless you are higher up in the rpm range and at wide open throttle or it can pool up in your intake manifold and explode.... search nitrous explosions and you will see first hand.
@MrSnakeaholic you don't find ANY irony in your statement at all? /fail. I also don't think NASA would approve of their employees disclosing themselves here. /2x fail BTW... I AM at work.
dude... i know, it was a joke^^ anyway an f1 engine is everything but practical, it idles at 5000rpm which means it's difficult to even start it. the water cooling has to be over 50°C before starting the engine itself, the pistons have to be warm enough because of the material extension so they perfectly fit in the cylinder. besides an f1 engine only lasts about 3000km and then is thrown away.... millions of € xD but well that's the reason why they are so powerful, engineering excellence^^
cmon bro why comment if you dont know what you're talking about? in the VERY FIRST "FAST AND FURIOUS" year 2001, his first car is a shitty eclipse. in the movie titled "2FAST 2 FURIOUS" YEAR 2003, he drives the r34 and evo.
What do people have against imports, especially Honda's? Most of them are better than american cars... I'd buyn a '92 Civic Coupe instead of a american car..
No man, 1Solace is clearly a car expert and he understands, unlike you, that it is totally easy to get 650bhp from a 1.6 litre mini cooper engine without any forced aspiration. He put a fart cannon on his civic and now it has an extra 100 hp, don't you know? Lol.
Those are still 2.4 liters, the mini is only a 1.6. And they are so incredibly different from a street engine it isn't funny. If you built a purpose made 1.6 designed to make 650 bhp from the block up, you could could do it. But no way you could take a stock street engine and mod it up to that. Even with forged internals, higher compression, etc. Without forced induction I don't see how.
if this was initial d rules he lost, should have brought out the skyline lol. But he is a good driver atleast he's not just all about acting like he can drive, get him and vin deisel on top gear I want to see what they got
The bmw m3 was supercharged The mini was turbo converted Can't fit anything bigger then the size of like a 1320 tvs (or equivalent) Under the hood and that's already notching the front crash bar for it to clear and fit snuggly
Ill never forget that day, that was the best race of my lifetime. Paul was so humble and just a great guy. Im blessed!
You were there in that day?
mini cooper guy
That was an unforgettable day!
It was the first time that I met him that day too, as well as my first time attack event. (not racing)
dez ballard What a lucky guy! 👏👏👏

Like video
And knowing when you need to go to the Pit for refuel, repair and tire changes
He seems like a pretty chill dude, livin tha dream
Amazing person and amazing driver. So sad to see him go! RIP fellow car guy!
1:32 at big willow is respectable. Great driving mr walker! RIP
He can drive. He looks so cute here racing. R.I.P. Paul you'll always be my favorite. We miss you so much already.
He could do just about everything, racing cars, catching great white sharks, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I also love that he played disc golf.
His one in a million......can't believe that it's almost a year since we lost him, =( still brings me to tears when I see tribute videos to him.
***** His birthday is coming up on Sept 12, that's going to be hard.
I know it's right around the corner. I'm thinking of doing another tribute to him for his birthday?
Paul Walker Is Legit. Dudes a actor, Race car drive, He even Fights Great White sharks in his spair time.

Dear Paul: We miss you :(
We miss you paul
@embscz1 no, Dom toretto. not gran torino. there's no U also. not unless you're talking about the MB tourino, which i don't think is featured in f&f.
There´s a Skyline waiting for you up in the sky!
Drive like a boss !
actually its a gs eclipse, i has a 420a fwd, you new cars you would no by the valve cover along with gsx = awd pretty sure it was just front tires spinning, also look at the gauge cluster, its a 420a gauge cluster as well, Thanks

@wajeh77 You're thinking 2 Fast 2 Furious. They are referring to the first movie, where he drives an Eclipse.
@jbn39 how do you get 650hp under control in a mini? did they convert to rwd or awd?
Where's his laptop & NOS?
@shadow2389 I thought it was a GSt?
Man if he was still alive he would still be racing. man can he drive
Love of my life. Soul connection.
@Eddie1122100 it's either: they did put a corvette engine... or they put a corvette... but not they did puted ;-)
@bluefirechicken #2 the removable floorpans were in a mitsubishi fool
#3 your saying nitrous isnt flammable?
@bluefirechicken maybe your talking about Tourino not "Terreto" lol
@makelelegd96 not even...its willow springs
Holy shit!
That cooper took off! Haha.
Now, me and the mad scientist got to rip apart the block... and replace the piston rings you fried
1:30
I loved the slide
@bluefirechicken that was funny but it wasnt a honda.....it was an eclipse
What the fuck did that mini have under the bonnet?
Turbo swapped Tritec original motor but turbo converted
Popular swap for those wanting more than 400whp without any spray involved
If you're interested there's a video on TH-cam that was in the forum I was in
It's called "bomber at 23psi" btw that's low boost racing a modified C6 Zr1 Corvette
Sadly the car got parted out when the guy sold it
Got more for it parted vs selling It as a whole
That was hard to see...
Miss you Paul
@MrSnakeaholic lol. powerslide=powerover drift. It is a technique used in drifting all the time... same difference
R.I.P.
I thought that looked like Willow, then I read the rest of the description lol.

There is nothing to be sad about. Speed kills. Simple as that.
He was lucky not to drag any other road user to heaven.
he is not the driver
Sean Wang don't get me wrong, i respect those who pass away, all im saying is if you play with fire be prepare to get burn. He always have a choice to ask the driver to slow down.
mhyau the driver is his friend, a high end test driver, a very good one. The people who drown to death are always good swimmers.
Doesn't matter if he is a pro racer or the president of America, driving 80 to 100mph in a 45 mph road is dangerous and wrong. He should know better if he is really proffesional and respectful of the law.

The M3 engine note is intoxicating!
Did something go wrong with the mini cooper?
It was redline time attack circuit, a run nose to tail, and swapped after each lap.
Strand Palace Hotel, London 29th September........ 2023 Checkin @ 24 prior to departure ⚖️✈️✈️✈️✈️🛎️🛎️🛎️🛎️🌎🌬️💍🧢👔📺👣🏡🧳✝️🍍🍍🍍🔮🍁🚍🧘🥋🚿🍞📚🧻
@stoone113 close but it was a '95 GS
@bluefirechicken 2: you mean an eclipse
how can a cooper chassis handle 650 hp?
Not that hard actually its an under rated chassis that has seen a whole lot more than 650 lol
Ty
Is that Clint driving the Mini? If so... he's a pretty damn good driver.
that mini is crazy
i see we understand each other :D
F1 is really the top of what engineers and "pilots" can reach... btw you know what would've happened if the fia would not set limits?

1:31 NICE SAVE PAUL! TOO BAD IT WAS EDDIE GRIFFON DRIVING THAT ENZO AND NOT YOU
It's not how you stand by your car.. It's how you race your car. You better learn that.
RIP. Such a sad sad thing to happen.
@IncessanteSpirito excellent.
Race in Heaven Paul
is he driving the mini or the bmw?
shifa34 Bmw M3 E92
Paul was definitely adrenalin guy
well charged anyway :) but thanks, didn't know that it's a turbo^^
All the guys out there hating on paul walker, the race would be over for half of you at 1:29. Guy can drive better than most people out there.
@MrSnakeaholic you don't find ANY irony in your statement at all? /fail. I also don't think NASA would approve of their employees disclosing themselves here. /2x fail BTW... I AM at work.
Darla paul walker i missing you
GO MINI GO!!!! Whoooohoooooooooo
The coolest guy of the WORLD !!!!!
Dam Paul had handles!
Yeah, I was joking. Obviously it is turbo'd, no other way to make that much power from that small of an engine. Have to have forced aspiration.
Someone finally gets it lol
@JakeFarrell420 yeah no joke! a stock mini is what, about 2500-2600 lbs. give or take. so 650hp in that.... bring an extra pair of pants
Paul Walker Needs An HPF Kit on the M3
dude... i know, it was a joke^^

Most of them are better than american cars...
I'd buyn a '92 Civic Coupe instead of a american car..
@MrSnakeaholic nope. GFY...
ale mini dopierdala! szok :)
Granny shifting not double clutching like he should...
@bluefirechicken
oh haha,, i didnt see that others had said that aswell haha

he's gonna use his stuff up tryin to stay ahead of someting 1/3 the size.....
I hope they have skylines in heaven
they have the best man-the best.....

@horses020 didnt even shound like he hit the limmiter
that mini must have a gallo 24
Paul walker is a decent steerer
@embscz1 seriously...?
1:32 skeeetch
if this was initial d rules he lost, should have brought out the skyline lol. But he is a good driver atleast he's not just all about acting like he can drive, get him and vin deisel on top gear I want to see what they got
I think Rodas was in Cooper...
im surprised he didnt use nos.
nice driving, don't compare a little car with 650hp and the M3 stock
The bmw m3 was supercharged
The mini was turbo converted
Can't fit anything bigger then the size of like a 1320 tvs (or equivalent)
Under the hood and that's already notching the front crash bar for it to clear and fit snuggly
1:30 driiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiift
this guy hits none of the clipping points. was he racing?
