Hi Gail I don't mind sharing I buy corrugated paper from Amazon but you can recycle cardboard boxes. In I e of my earlier videos I explain an easy way to get the top paper off the box you recycle. It's very easy have a pan of water quickly dip the piece in the water then you can pull off the top paper easily. I also recycle that top paper it has texture. Let me know how it goes. So I’m sure you’ve answered this question a million times….does the rust stay on the metal items or is it easily transferred to the paper and fabric/ribbon embellishments?? I love these lil witches journals 🖤🖤🖤🖤
Hi Cheryl, thank you for your kind words. Well, you have to love/embrace the rust. It will come off and transfer to paper and fabric. Some things more than others. I don't mind that, but some might. Maybe/hope you will give it a try. Kathy

I love, love these. Ive tried so many times to rust things for my journals. Some items work and others don't rust at all. Is there a trick to getting those things to rust? I just use the peroxide/vinegar method.
You are absolutely right some things work and others don't. You might clean items first with I think it is called denatured alcohol. I use the same method with salt...thank you Kathy
Hi Kathy, do you mean the glass ball? That was from craft store jewelry section I just added it to a chain to look like "a witches crystal ball". The other circles are metal rim tags you can get those at craft stores or office supply or I sell those in my shop. I hope this is helpful. If you have more questions you can message me. Kathy

The digitals I used for the covers were the Hocus Pocus (black cat in hat) was from Alpha Stamps under Halloween I believe it was under spines P130721spines-10. The Witches Ball is from Graphics Fairy vintage Halloween pintables, and the Black Cat trading game I can't find were I got this image perhaps from pinterest. Hope this helps. Happy Crafting. Kathy
