Katie, this is beautiful! There is NOTHING better or sweeter than the love of our Savior! Only an hour, or so, ago I was feeling overwhelmed and so I got my phone and looked up a listing of Psalms for praise. I read each one, praising and thanking Him for Who He is and who I am in Him. Now I feel at perfect peace and very blessed. His yoke is easy and His burden is light, as you said. I love Him, I love Him I do, too! Thanks, Katie ❤️

My answer will be different than yours but encouraged that the waiting is not in vain.
I have felt I needed to spend an extended time in HIS presence and felt it was for HIM to reveal things HE wanted me to know. I too felt I was sitting hour on end in silence and receiving nothing. I have been so frustrated feeling I was to blame for the silence. I have tried to totally limit cell time as much as possible but felt a need to quickly scan UTube This video was my answer to my hearts cry.
I too often choose to limit cell phone time, because it is one of the biggest things that gets in the way of God's presence. I have to be very careful of what I allow myself to do on my phone (and more importantly, how much) or before I know it, I discover that I have traded conversations with God for mindless scrolling on my phone. The one is sometimes a cheap thrill and often not anything more than a source of anger... and the other is priceless. And yet it's so easy to trade the priceless one for the worthless one before we even realize what we're doing!
