I think a lot of public screenings at tiff get above average reactions. I wondered... Is it a pacing issue or is it ✨ atmosphere✨? Is there enough meaning behind the cynicism and bleakness? I think not... I think watching Cloud alone on a streamer will be a very different experience than watching it as the first film at tiff w an excited audience. I walked out thinking it's a 3.5 but now it's more like a 2.
