I'm exited but there is 3 franchises who i miss, and had no games for long time. Those are: Valkyria Chronicles (last game was in 2018), Phantasy Star (RPG), and Skies of Arcadia. I suspect probably Sakura Wars replaced of Valkyria Chronicles (VC evolved from SW franchise, and you can just add VC battle system in future SW games), and Phantasy Star have own MMORPG. Skies of Arcadia is left in the corner, i think due to potential very high cost to remake this game from scratch. I would also love new Shining Force game like SF3. I want Sega RPG's brands to comeback, not only relaying on Atlus.
And even Space Channel 5 and Virtua Fighter 6.
Definitely house of the dead mostly, but i am eager for ALL OF THEM
House of the Dead has already been remade!
Aww, yeah! Definitely glad I stuck around on that stream! Can’t wait to take another shot at Shinobi, Crazy Taxi, and Jet Set Radio! 🤩
The moment you mentioned Hideki Naganuma I wanted to cry... And HN would totally showcase new people. It is why their soundtracks are so great.
Stumbled onto this video by chance, but seeing that clip of your reaction to the Sega Legacy Games announcement gave me a warm feeling of camaraderie, being a Sega fan myself. Instant subscribe! :D Looking forward to watching your other vids, particularly your Sega Lores.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it! I'm happy that SEGA was able to resurrect their legacy IPs after so much demand and we're finally eating!
I'll be sure to make more SEGA Lores videos very soon. Keep an eye out for my community post! 👍
I will be optimistic and hope that these five games do not disappoint.
5 of 10, Sega confirmed officialy only 5 games of 10. There is also info ,,and more'' in trailer.
My only worries regarding Crazy Taxi and Jet Set Radio is being live service only. I just hope these games will have offline mode for old school gamers like myself.
Same, I enjoy single player content than online these days. I'm fine with live service if its optional like getting rare items through alternative methods.
I look forward to all of them. :D
Good stuff and great video! I hope that Sega will continue to make great games with their IPs. Its also great that people that worked on the original projects are back in 🥰
Agreed! I'm excited to see SEGA classic IPs making a comeback and definitely is neccessary to have original creators/team members on developing the games.
An ever evolving Jet Set Radio where you have to go back and defend/take over rival factions could add the longevity to the series. Really looking forward to seeing anything new from the Jet Set world.
Love the enthusiasm. I felt the same when I saw the announcement.
Thank you! As a long time SEGA fan, I've waited for this type of announcement for years. It was totally the highlight of the Game Awards in my opinion.
@@KoriMaruGaming Agreed. I'm still waiting for the day they reboot the Dreamcast. The console market needs a shakeup.
Man, i love Electric Toothbrush
Same, I've been playing Jet Set Radio again recently and thought about adding this track into the video. It definitely gives out the "New Era, New Energy" vibe.
I'm most excited about street of Rage, my wife and I play Streets of Rage pretty much every weekend we are both excited. But I don't think it's a re-telling, take a look at Axel, he has his SOR4 look so it might take place after 4.
I want them all
I just want Sega to do something with Ristar :(
the crazy taxi game looks great, jsr needed a sequal badly as well jsrf was stuck on the og xbox and was never rereleased people afe just now playing it due to xbox finally getting solid pc emulation
Love your energy and excitement
My dad was as excited as this :D
as he grew up on these titles
They look great
6:12 Bruh, we just had Sekiro.😅
Then again that was about 5 years ago so maybe you're right.
Coolsome video.
Thank you!
What they did was wait until these games are already made. SOR4, that Funk Rush(JSR), and any number of shiniobi, golden ax clones. They also had time to get Crazy Taxi right, but it hasn't been since pt.2. So Why Now? Is it because these games have come out? Now AM2 those games need remakes/remasters.
I really hope these turn out well. I think it's what the industry needs now. Simple, straightforward games free from the usual political BS (from either side).
Jet Set Radio and Crazy Taxi are going to be live service games with predatory monetization.
You don't know that yet.
@@robertruffo2134 It's 100% for sure. Games will be developed by PSO2 New Genesis team = live service game (Online R&D only made mobile games and PSO2 NG, 0 singleplayer games), and PSO2 NG is heavy monetized game, which ridicilous prices. And this game still lacks in content (game is nearly dead outside of Japan), and it's mid compared to PSO1.
Well R.I.P. Jet Set Radio and Crazy Taxi.
