The seven days of constant, real-time PvP last week really did a number on me for burnout. I was getting about three hours of sleep per night.
My normal account and my completely free to play account are still able to get the 850 prestige, but the extra time to do everything is risking more burnout. Due to burnout and my uncertainty of if my body can keep up with the increased demand of my time, I won't be spending real money in the game any more. Not spending money will make it easier to leave the game if I feel the need to.
Have you seens how they ruined the mysterious island?
And back on topic : it's still worth it to try and get the extra portal charge. Getting double chaos particles is not something to let pass IMHO.

It is tricky; a good guild helps. Wish the Portal Charge were only 800. So right that you almost have to complete everything to get the PC
basically this was a nerf to the players. greedy nexters thought they were being too generous.
Misty, did they fix the buy or upgrade pet stones for x amount of chaos particles if your pets are maxed out? I know when it first started it didn't for you.
Yeah they fixed that like a week after in launched.
Well, seems to me that, Hero Wars becomes more money related, instead of helping the free players, and, give poor rewards for the use of more items, in the game ! ... 🤔 But, maybe is just me ! ... 🙂

I feel it's important to keep telling Nexters about the harm to all players, even spending players like me and especially F2P players, if they aren't thinking about how to make the game accessible to F2P as well.
I spend a bit on Emeralds every month (and also on Mysterious Map), but many other spending players see and feel the over-focus on making money...
There's a boycott-purchases campaign that I saw being promoted on our server, Server 50?
Maybe that boycott on purchases could be a nice way to show solidarity with struggling players as well as convince Nexters to have a more holistic perspective in raising money AND providing a great game experience on a game that actually does make people have FUN!
I also keep sending feedback to them, quoting players on diff YT channels with their insights.
I hope we could organize something, maybe with some support from HW creators to boost?

Respectfully, I think a lot of the negativity against this update is exaggerated! Most of these quests just makes you not spend all your resources at once. If you have 10000 skinstones, don't spend all of them today, spend some today, and some tomorrow. And the same goes for basically every other resource. The only one that actually requires that spend emeralds most days is the "beat enemies in campaign" quest. But you don't need to finish EVERY single task to get the portal charge. I've been F2P for 2 years now, and I do not struggle with these tasks, because I always save resources for events. I always have extra skinstones and glyphs ready incase I want/need to level up extra stages there for an event. 2500 points in glyphs, while pretty big, is not even enough to level a glyph one level after you reach level 45. And since you can get all of these resources in emerald coin hero events, it really shouldn't be that big of a problem for people to just save up a little. The shop quest is easily accomplished in the titan artifact shop. If you get to stage 6 most days, you should be able to do this without a problem. The difficult quests from arena and grand arena can either be skipped with VF, or you can just tank your rating a little bit until you can complete it, and work your way back up. Saying that doing the same stuff you did previously, just using a bit more of those resources, dramatically worsens the game, is so weird in my opinion. At the end of the day, it is free stuff that is given to you just for playing the game. No emeralds and no cash necessary to complete the daily quest line!
And there is no 28 daily quest. Previously 25 but also no 25. These guys who design this are bad in math.
There are over 30 daily quests available each day. Some of them have multiple stages, like the titanite, energy drop and guild activity ones
