You'll barely get any blood." "I know." Frustration boils in her. Her fingers curl into a fist against his chest and as she is about to push him away, he sighs and holds onto her harder. You barely hear him quietly murmur against your skin, "You barely healed after last week. I don't want to make another wound."
The battle between Delana and Derek intensifies as she charges him. His sword slams hard against hers sending her to the ground. "Enough Delana, no more!" "I have no choice!" she cries getting to her feet. She charges at him once more for him to catch the blade of her katana in his hand. She pulls the blade hard to see no blood dripping from his hand. Derek took advantage of her distraction and grabbed her wrists and slams her into the wall. He holds her wrists in place above her head with one hand. "For a human you're strong." "For a vampire you're stubborn." She looks up at him with tears running down her face, "I had no choice you work for Evan!" "When are you going to let go of the past Delana and let me in! What Evan did was over 200 years ago! I'm not going no where because I love you!" He pulls her wrists up to where she's eye level and wraps her legs around his waist. She gasp at the moment she feels him pressing against her. For the first time in so long her blood heats up like liquid fire running through her body. "You feel that, that's what you do to me. Ever since I saw you on the pier your scent has crept into every pore of my body. You have aroused me to the point I would take you right here right now. She moaned at the pleasurable feeling she longed for. Her enemy is now her lover, her mate, her protector. With each movement her scent grows stronger making Derek thrust harder.
