Actually sounds pretty good. All the musicians sound good.Nice guitar and Hammond organ tones.Peter has pretty good sounding voice for his age.Bolton seems like a much better player now, than he was in '72.Wish I would have gotten to see Vincent play back in the day.

Cheers Boltz and guys for keeping 'Roosters music alive. MrExuma - saw them in 72 as well, at the Dagenham Roundhouse.

The three guys that recorded that album are long gone. Pete French and Steve Bolton were in AR in the 70s and no one is more qualified to front a modern Rooster than Pete French as he is the singer on 'In Hearing of ' which is their finest album.

@@BlackWhirlies Thank you for that. much appreciated, Peter.

@@FRENCHPF You know Peter, I find most of the [rock] stuff from that era pretty unlistenable now (apart from McLaughlin and Zappa) but there are a few classics that I still love and 'In Hearing of' is one of them. I know Farlowe can sing but he didn't 'get it' in the way you did and 48 years later you still sound great!

@@BlackWhirlies Funny that you should mention McLaughlin and Zappa. Well McLaughlin anyway. I saw AR with Vincent, John Cann and Paul Hammond playing support to Tony Williams "Lifetime" with John McLaughlin, Jack Bruce, and Larry Young. Only John McLaughlin is still alive. Sad. Paul Hammond had huge drums. 2 x 28" bass drums. Tony Williams played a Gretsch jazz kit with an 18" bass drum. Man they were loud. I saw Johnny DuCann as he went on to call himself later on in Camden town at some show. Those were some days. Ric Parnell is well in San Diego CA these days. After AR was Spinal Tap!!
