Ah, beautiful French Quarter. We've stayed there (and Riverside) many times and have enjoyed every visit over the years (even back to the Riverside 'Dixie Landings' days). Never tire of the boat ride down to the Village Marketplace > Downtown Disney > Disney Springs. Thanks, as always, for taking the time to do this.
They both really are beautiful resorts, and that boat ride to & from Disney springs is very relaxing! I like how it’s a solid 15 minute ride or so. I’ll post a video of that tomorrow! Thank you very much for always watching John😃
I stayed here with my family on our first visit to WDW. I still think it’s a gorgeous resort, and well worth a visit, especially first thing in the morning with the mist on the river and all the shorebirds looking for breakfast. Thanks for the video!
Love this resort, in my top 3. Planning on staying here on my next visit. And I need that beignet all day shirt!! Thanks for the walking stroll 4K. Excellent as always.
Staying here is a great choice for sure! This resort has so much charm, and I think it’s the perfect size! Most moderates are insanely big, but that’s not the case here lol. They did have some really cool merch at the store here!! Thanks so much as always Andrew😃
As a person who has played Dixieland Jazz, this and the boat ride episode are perfect for Adult Disney. We booked French Quarters for end of January through Groundhog’s Day. Thank you. I don’t know how we missed this. We watch everyone. Oh we must cross the river to see YeeHaw Bob!
Oh wow that’s so cool! No worries about not seeing this earlier! That happens sometimes but I’m glad you found it! Thank you for always watching my friend 😃
⚜Lovely walkthrough of a chill resort opposed when it reopened and was pouring LOL. Love it has its own merch😊Such a plus viewing a room - adds to getting the vibe of the place. 🟪🟨🟩This is like a preview of the BGM & feel for Tiana's -beignets & NOLA. Thx 4💜
Liz! You have got to stay here sometime!! It is a lovely resort! AND, easy access to the beignets!! (messy but good…powdered sugar everywhere!!!). If you like Disney Springs, the boat transportation there cannot be beat!! (relaxing cruise on the Sassagoula River). I will definitely be staying here again!! (or sure trying…I heard I got lucky getting a reservation!!)
@@rwbashaw66 As soon as I saw the title, I knew you're going to be a happy puppy! It's nice to hear such a ringing endorsement of a place. Com'on, it has musical crocodiles, it has to be a great place LOL!
Oh yes, I remember that rainy reopening day as well lol. I had to make sure it was a picture perfect day next time I filmed here! This resort has always been extremely underrated in my opinion, and hope to make it out here more often. That’s true, I was thinking of Tiana’s Bayou adventure so much while filming this lol. Thanks so much as always 😊
I adore the Walt Disney World French Quarter resort. It is a charming and intimate vacation place, with its quaint architecture and peaceful atmosphere. The convenience of having boat transportation to Disney Springs is a great perk, and the highlight of my stay was indulging in the delicious Beignets. In my opinion taste very similar to Cafe Du Monde in New Orleans. Thanks, 4K WDW, for what you do.
That was an awesome walk around! We haven’t ever stayed there, but we might consider it after watching this entertaining video!! Thanks for so many amazing videos over the years!
I’m glad you enjoyed it! This resort has always been very underrated to me. It has so much charm to it and it’s also the perfect size in my opinion! It is always my pleasure, and truly do appreciate all of your continued support for so long. Thank you so much😊
Yes!!!!!! My favorite resort, I love it so much! I was so excited when I saw today's video title!! You made my day! It's such a beautiful and relaxing resort and this walk-thru was perfection. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!
I’m so glad you enjoyed this surprise! I bet almost no one saw a Port Orleans video coming today lol, and I’ll have the boat ride to Disney springs posted tomorrow! Thank you very much as always 😃
Love this! Just back from staying there and 4K reminds me here of the great long weekend I had!! (Yeah, 4K, I remember you mentioned it and just wondered how long the wait…not long at all!!!) I loved the theming throughout!! Ah! Jackson Square shop! Got my POFQ Tervis and Beignets All Day Mug to keep the visit there in mind when I have my coffee or other bevs!! I love that old Jazz BGM playing throughout!! I have to say the long weekend convinced me that I have to have a week-long stay there some upcoming visit. As you show here, this place is so wonderfully themed!! Like strolling around the Big Easy!!
Yep, I’m glad I had the perfect weather to film here asap like I wanted!! This resort really has so much charm and wonderful theming, and even I want to stay here for a few days myself! Thank you so much as always 😃
I loved this resort! 🥰 AND this video kicked ass! (Definitely an upgrade to your previous French Quarter vid! 😉👌🏼) I basically (since staying there in 2019) learnt about and know every track they play in the background music! Apparently it's the same playlist up the river at Port Orleans Riverside where I'm staying next! 🤯🥰
Just watching this video now after watching you’re other French Quarter video from Oct 21. Great place, going to be watching these videos on repeat, miss it
Love that you captured some of my favorite features in the very accurately themed Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter Resort. Since New Orleans is renowned for partying, the names of the Streets and Alleyways are embedded in the sidewalk as well as on old Lamp Posts (for those crawling back home after a wild night). The doors for the Guest's rooms are different colors to help locate the right room in the wee hours. In Jackson Square, above the merchandise displays on the right (as you enter the shop from the resort lobby), there is a profession of Mardi Gras Revellers - (from the waist down) while their heads and torsos are partying away upstairs in the attic. The rectangular pool with the double quartet of adorable spitting Frogs (my personal favorite), is one of many lovely well shaded spots around the Resort that are perfect for relaxing. And of course, what would Disney's French Quarter Resort be without (bad) puns- "Rue D' Baga", freshly prepared Beignets, live Jazz nightly at The Scat Cat Club AND Horse Carriage rides? 🤗 Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter Resort is one of the most compact resorts on Disney Property which makes it perfect for strolling (or running/jogging, cycling) around the Resort, along the bank of the Sassagula River to Disney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort and back.) Thanks for sharing. As always - this an excellent video. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Hi, great video! This is my choice for my resort next year when I come to WDW. Thank you for walking around the resort and showing everything with the best quality video - appreciate it as always! ❤
POFQ is my absolute FAVORITE moderate resort at WDW!!! Thank you for the wonderful video!!! Can't wait to be back there this fall & those AMAZING beignets!!!😁
This is our favorite resort!! We just got back from here a week ago, and I miss it already. Thank you for this video to give my disney blues a hug! One of the best locations in my opinion with great access to Disney Springs. My kids really enjoyed the boat ride over there. It's quiet and peaceful, and not to mention, a short walk to beignets! Can't get any better than that. Next time, we will opt to stay at French Quarter since most of our trips have been at Riverside. We really enjoy all your videos and different views and perspective. It makes our time away from Disney more bearable! ;)
Thanks very much for the video. This is where we usually stay when at WDW, and we're very happy with it. I was hoping that maybe you'd have taken the walk along the river towards riverside. it's maybe 1/2 mile long, and maybe the most wonderful and peaceful walk at WDW.
I love this resort. I’ll be staying here if I ever get the chance to visit WDW again (bucket list). You did a beautiful job with this video. Thank you 😊
They just need to improve the transportation issues here. I know they have the boat, but these 2 are underrated resorts, and might be the best moderate resorts Disney has to offer
Yes, I feel like all the moderate resorts need to expand their transportation options to the parks! Coronado springs needs the Skyliner badly in my opinion
This is my Favorite resort but I won’t stay here again. Nothing like coming down once a year and then being abandoned at a bus stop for an hour. They put up a tip board so you can see when the bus is coming and it’s never updated.
This is my favorite resort. But when I stayed there were 0 people and it was in the middle of the crowded season. I never waited for a bus once. The longest was 15 minutes.
Hi 4K! My family and I were expecting a stay at Coronado Springs but because of some issues on the organizers part (not Disney’s) we’re ending up here instead! My siblings are kind of bummed, they seemed to like the idea of Coronado more. Especially since we’re from la and go to New Orleans all the time! Do you have any tips for making the most of our stay here? :)
Hi Madison! I’m sorry to hear about the Coronado springs issue, but this resort is still a wonderful option! The biggest perk of it is that you can take the boat to Disney Springs! You also can buy beignets here, which is the only place on Disney property that sells them to my knowledge. Another tip is the line for the buses can get pretty busy in the morning hours, so just try to be prepared and add extra time in your plans for that if you can. But after like 12pm or so things calm down!
@@4KWDWSorry for the late response! We ended up taking the boat to Disney springs, that was super fun! And the beignets were heavenly 🤤 Overall it was a great trip! Thanks for your response and the great content
I can't believe they still haven't installed elevators. Just like the real New Orleans, South Florida is swampland so it's just as hot/humid in the summer. Can't imagine climbing three levels of stairs after a long, hot day in the parks...
