  • This video demonstrates the design and implementation of the Buck Converter in PSIM (Powersim) . The input voltage considered is 48V and it's designed for an output voltage of 15V. The inductor value is chosen such that, it operates in Continuous Conduction Mode (CCM). The voltage ripple is assumed to be 5 %.

what if i have input like 24V or 12V ( it will be solar panel ) what parameters I should use?

What if the output varies with the duty cycle, how do we cater for that?

Hi Sir , Can i use thyristor in place of MOSFET or IGBT
And value of gate pulse (information ) is same for thyristor ?
    Please help ...

When I use thyristor , input voltage is 47.99 and output voltage is also 47.99
      I.e both is same.

Actually you can use a thyristor but you need commutation circuit to turn off the thyristor. It increases the complexity of the circuit

As I told you, you must have a commutation circuit to turn it off as the supply is Dc
