"Tell her from this high terrain, I am ready now to fall" : a magnificent declaration of sacrifice and commitment to a loved one or a cause. I wouldn't mind having this inscribed on my tombstone.
i remembered this song so vividly from scrubs and it's still a favourite song i keep coming back to. it's so reassuring and accurate, 'something in my mind freezes up from time to time'. wonderful song
This was the "song" at my wedding. I was dating her long distance when this song was released. I heard this song on the plane when we landed. I suggested it. We listened. Then we saw Del Amitri perform it live a month later. It became the wedding song. 11 years after first hearing it, we were divorced with a child. Funny thing is, like the song, regrets are hard to come by. That's life. We get along, even though no longer married. Our child is our focus now. This song is still meaningful.
scrubs has THE BEST sound track. i've found so many amazing songs through them.. and it's not like scrubs claim they wrote the songs anyway, so why should that person care?
This song always reminds me of dropping that first huge log of an epic #2… I don’t want her to go, but I must let go.. but tell her I made a mistake.. I’ll plop from up high unto the bowl as well… tell her!
We all have a scrubs's song moment .. Scrubs helped so much people to let them out thier feelings or to trust on themself again... ...... Hey julie ... :)
Listening to songs like this simultaneously fills me with sadness and rage. I'm struggling to come to terms with the possibility that I may be a misogynist...
trying to find a song to sing as a first dance at a wedding reception. this, like the other ones I wanted, is half a love song half a heartbreak song. I think they'll just have to deal with it, this song is way too pretty to pass up
I don't actually remember where I first heard this as I've never been a big watcher of Scrubs, I think maybe I either heard it when I had a music channel on while I was working or I caught the episode of Scrubs it featured in and looked it up. Either way, I don't get why people get upset when a band writes a song that gets used in a popular TV show and thus makes the band a lot of money along with many more people getting to enjoy their work lol
Tell her I think of her from time to time Tell her my heart aches when I picture her face Tell her to call me if she needs a friend Tell her my love will never end.
I'm guessing I should watch "Scrubs". Every time I hear or remember a song I want to cover, the comments say "Scrubs brought me here". Hell, maybe I should'a been musical director for Scrubs.
@bloodyredshade I hear you, it's the same with me *Sigh* ill always love you Hannah, same with you too Jessie, always and forever Natasha, Leah I still love you and Louise I love you and I hope you feel the same way about me :' )
I can't understand it in the slightest. It's like when people say a song is overrated and they are a fan of the band that made it. Music people are a bit weird.

Del Amitri were such an under-rated Scottish band ... they were fab

This band has been the background music for my life since I can remember.

R.U. Kiddingme fuckin sad story...
At least you still get along. A lot of people have really contentious divorces and can't stand each other afterwards.
Good story although...hardly a wedding song. Seems more of a breakup/regret song to me
I think it was a good story thou...

I wore this band out growing up. What a great band. Definately under appreciated.

@senderblock Might've been Zach Braff...he's picked a lot of great songs for Scrubs, as well as Garden State and The Last Kiss.
I'm guessing I should watch "Scrubs". Every time I hear or remember a song I want to cover, the comments say "Scrubs brought me here". Hell, maybe I should'a been musical director for Scrubs.

Brilliant song. I don't understand why it has low views
@dabdkr37 ya he directed a lot of the scrubs episodes actually
@82inciya Thank you.
@senderblock its not just him. his wife, Christa Miller, picks out almost every song.
Same here man, hurtin' so bad :/
I really like this song!! It makes me ALWAYS check the phone at sec.38 and remind me scrubs 2x11 "My Sex Buddy", super funny for the "sex horns"!!
I’m the only one that knows this song from the movie Boys with Winona Ryder?
@barricade021644 No one is bad here. Now you know something you didn't before so that makes all this worth it.
@barricade021644 No. How did you get that into your head? I said she is the wife of Bill Lawrence.
@senderblock Its actually zach braff that finds the music
He put a comma there because it is the correct grammar. It shows a short pause between the two parts of the lyrics.
Season 2 episode 11 mate.
love this :´)
It's from "Twisted"
shouldn't you be happy that scrubs helped share this wonderful music then ?
I searched this song because of Julia Quinn's "When He Was Wicked" :)
MrTopercio yeah dude me too, it was a good movie also.
you should all check out michael schulte´s version of this song :-) it´s just beautiful...
Thumbs up if u already knew this song b4 scrubs and are part of Generation X !!!!! ;)
Well, you can choose to look at statistics or you can look at life. There is a choice. The choice is yours. What do you really feel? Go with that.
So true but so hard to do it.
Tell her, not to go...
All the actors pick songs for scrubs.
I knew them when they was Derek Amitri ;)
Thats me right this second.
MrRamblingMadman So what happened? You good now?

Searched this after watching Boys (1996) Winona Ryder.
Dawson's Creek got me here.
