    Do 120 automatic delete the overall covered distance when the battery change?

    • @TheDecathlonMan
      @TheDecathlonMan  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      As far as I am aware the distance does get deleted at battery change.

    I changed battery and lost all the old readings. Is there a way to get them back?

    • @TheDecathlonMan
      @TheDecathlonMan  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      As far as I am aware, unfortunately not, the only option would be to take a note of them before swapping batteries. This is why the Strava app and GPS in general work better for training as the GPS have rechargeable batteries and Strava data is kept on a server.

    How do you turn on the backlight for the bc 500 because it doesn't turn on automatically at night

    • @TheDecathlonMan
      @TheDecathlonMan  ปีที่แล้ว

      Have you tried pressing the top button?

    • @ibrahim.abouelseoud
      @ibrahim.abouelseoud ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TheDecathlonMan thanks for the response, I did but it only makes it light for like a second and it turns dim/off again, I even tried to press it while cycling and same behavior, is there no way to make it constantly light during the night ride ?

    • @TheDecathlonMan
      @TheDecathlonMan  ปีที่แล้ว

      As far as I am aware it is a 5second backlight only

    • @ibrahim.abouelseoud

      @@TheDecathlonMan thanks for the response, but that should be written/mentioned somewhere, since that's pretty useless for night cycling as I need to know the speed currently, I don't want to take my hands off the handlebars to turn on the lights to know my speed for 5 seconds at a time at night 😅

      I agree, I can get the webteam to add it to the webpage, if you have an account with us, then you have up to a year to return the computer if you are unhappy with it.

    The BC 120 , there's no way to turn it off manually? It stays on for several minutes of inactivity

    • @TheDecathlonMan
      @TheDecathlonMan  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You should be able to push the top button in for 2 secs and it should switch off support.decathlon.co.uk/bc-120

      @TheDecathlonMan  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @TheDecathlonMan if you mean you would like no sensor at but still have speed info, then you will need a GPS www.decathlon.co.uk/p/cyclometer-gps-500/_/R-p-338370?mc=8735154&redirectedFromKeyword=8735154

    Battery life of the 120 model?

    • @TheDecathlonMan
      @TheDecathlonMan  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That will always depend on a lot of factors, just like any battery. Battery life will vary from user to user. If it is left out in cold weather or used all the time or left to discharge from non use, then the battery will not last as long. The sensor is more likely to run out quicker than the actual main unit. I have had them last for around 150 hrs, this is after taking the unit off and storing it indoors in the warm.

    Is it waterproof?

    • @TheDecathlonMan
      @TheDecathlonMan  ปีที่แล้ว

      It is watertight, still best not to go scuba diving with it though.
