There’d be no KK’s Priest without the original Priest. The original band in its prime will never be surpassed . Having said that, this a killer rendition of a classic. Well done.👊🏻👍🏻
You could argue, that there would have been no Priest without KK. He wanted to play in Atkins band Judas Priest. They disband though so Atkins joined KKs band which they then renamed to Judas Priest again. So without KK there would have been no Priest. KK and Ian were the original founding members of Priest.
Fk yeah!!!!! Right here!!! More muscle than Judas Priest. To those who can't see by watching this video, no argument you're entitled to your opinions. 🙌💪
Les Binks drumming on this track, has never been matched IMHO. This is a decent rendition by KK's lads, but me thinks the live Unleashed version is still the best ✌
KK, he’s insanely talented, this is amazingly better I’m sorry to say, a tear in my eyes doing that, I listened to Judas sense 1976, always loved them! My favorite band, but this kicks my brain/ it’s so fu-ing good ❤❤❤
I mean, it bums me out that KK is not in JP but nice to see he still delivers the goods. Classic KK solo reworked for today. Looks like a solid crowd too. Good for them.
Ripper joins his second Judas Priest cover band. Just kidding. I LOVE THIS STUFF. All the best to all in both K.K.'s Priest and Judas Priest. METAL!!!!
I'm a longtime fan of JP, and I actually was the bassist of a bar band that Scott Travis played in, called Hooker. We used to play full sets of Priest at the bars in Norfolk, Va. Scott was hands down the best drummer I've ever played with, or seen. But I have to say, it doesn't seem like they're heart is in it anymore. I know personell changes are hard on bands, and no body seems to sound as good as the original members. Nostalgia perhaps? I'll say this... Scott, man you still got it, my friend. Lost touch with you for the last 28 years, but "Frank Perdue" says hi.
Completely disagree with you. But we all have our opinion. For me my favorite period was Sad Wings of Destiny, Sin After Sin, Stained Glass. @@omniken66
My very first (major) Judas Priest concert was during my early teenage rockin' years in the S.F. Bay area. Up front center stage. Day on the Green in Oakland, Ca. July 23rd of ''77, opening for Led Zeppelin. Had purchased "Sin After Sin" officially released, couple months prior to their debut Bay Area gig. Nobody up in the front stage area even knew who they were. Many had perplexed reactions as I was rockin' out. This version "46 fuckin' years later," rocks beyond the heavy metal gods. Right on, KK! Keep it real. Your band rocks!
I'm 60 have been listening to Judas Priest since 1974 but now that I'm older don't mean shit. I still listen to them. I agree, this band kills it.
Right behind ya! 58 here. 🤘 Can't wait for the new Priest album this March also!
Rob Halfords band Judas Priest isn't not more.
kK Priest sounds better
When nature calleth" thou shall not stalleth, but yeah worst time tho?!
What is it with people stating their age? I'm 67 so what?!
@@vanzandt8809 I state my age to show that I still listen to metal. What's your problem.
Ripper was always a monster!!! He has always been an exceptional singer and now his voice is even stronger. Sensational.
At 71 years old, Ken still has it...
Damn right!! 🤘

Once she was wonderful...once she was miiiiine!!!

The would be no Judas Priest without KK he hired Glenn and Rob !
I was there and that scream at 8:48 that lasted nearly 20 seconds almost melted my ears! Great stuff!
Fk yeah!!!!! Right here!!! More muscle than Judas Priest. To those who can't see by watching this video, no argument you're entitled to your opinions. 🙌💪
I love it. The greatest song ever is done well by KK's boys. I'm 56 and have loved this song for most of my life.

Les Binks drumming on this track, has never been matched IMHO.
This is a decent rendition by KK's lads, but me thinks the live Unleashed version is still the best ✌

I mean, it bums me out that KK is not in JP but nice to see he still delivers the goods. Classic KK solo reworked for today. Looks like a solid crowd too. Good for them.

KK’s Priest is So much better than the other. I will go to see this band.
I love this more than the current Priest. I'm sorry to say this, but it's true.

This has the Unleashed stamp of Metal goodness.

Decades later this song still gives me goosebumps
Awesome job!!!! Looks and sounds like a good move. rock on!!!!🤘🏼🤘🏼
Simply Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow! A classic which the OG Priest hasn't performed live in ages. A true vocal workout! And Tim delivers here!
AWESOME version - Ripper nails it and then some, terrific! \m/
The 80s Approved this performance!!!
Kk AMAZING!!!
This is what metal should sound like !!
oooh ! /,,/ !
My favorite Priest song. I'm in the clear minority here when I say I thought this was...ok. It was good. Not great, but not bad either. Just...ok.
RIPPER OWENS MAMMA MIA.
Man, this is incredible!
A versão do unisonic c kiske é imbatível.
Tipton did all the really hard stuff back in the day... But KK is seriously kicking butt .... or should that be f##king butt.....😉
Kk has been vindicated'and his band members love him this gives me the chills
That sounds great, love that lead in guitar part
❤❤ no trickery here. Backing vocals. Backing tracks. Purely METAL. The way it should be..✌👊
a slight delay on vocals which EVERYONE uses! They sound absolutely AWESOME!!!!

KK has the base way forward in the sound in this band, both on the record and live. I love it.
Simply badass! If id have heard this on the radio instead of seeing it here I'd have sworn it was Judas Priest. 🤘😁
SOUNDS FANTASTIC!
Brilliant.
Ripper is a ****ing beast! Hopefully KK keeps this band going!
Brooo Tim Ripper is a metal god. He is on fire here.
Gotta admit that was very impressive
KK plays it correctly like the recording .

Holy crap this is pretty much up there with the RH versions
I really need to see these guys live. KK is amazing, especially for his age. Ripper is sounding incredibly great, he fkn killed it.
Unleashed in the East is still my go to kick ass album💪
Ripper on point.
Ripper is tearing it up! This is great ...yes better than the judas preist we now have
You mean the Rob Halford band.
Agree 💯💥
You mean KK's misfit band? @@michaelmathes1991

I was at that concert also, it was my first concert. Rob Halford had long hair wearing a pink shirt. Judas Priest looked different in 1977.
