And I loved that he looked like he loved singing this piece on account it is a beautifully crafted song, hence he was able to leave much sung traditionally (and powerfully) and then craftily add his unique twist that adds that little (quite a lot) extra pleasure. Roy Black....... he was a star in the dark ages.....my father was a `schlager`fan, my neighbour was a producer for a few `schlager`stars in the 80`s....... but I prefer the more gritty music from Germany like Rammstein, Avantasia and our Dutch symphonic metal bands. But you can`t go wrong with Tommy, everything he does is very pleasant to listen to. Well, skol....or just proost.....for xmas eve and enjoy your weekend.

I discovered Tommy first, and then Dan, two or three months ago only, and I have become addicted to Dan only, although Tommy is very good too. The thing is, I find that Dan's range of voices is much wider and more interesting. High and low notes, clear and hoarse voices, opera, growl... Dan can do everything! I' not sure whether Tommy would be able to do all this.
@@KentLund-m3s Did you hear Dan's Hallelujah? Pay attention to the voices that come from the four squares in the left-hand top corner. He goes really high, there! As for the skills themselves, I was only talking about singing skill, not instruments. I do think that Dan is a better singer than Tommy. When I was talking about the range of voices, it wasn't just a matter of highs and lows, but a matter of technics. Dan can sing with clear or hoarse voice, opera, growl, etc. Tommy has pretty much always the same voice. He is less technical.
Yes I heard it very high but no C6 that Tommy can do, thats one of the highest notes a soprano can do. Listen to him in Phantom in the Opera where he does it. But its not a competition I love them both!

Tommys range is from F2-C6 and plays 10 instruments Dan dont have a chance in range but he is good, one of my favorites.
